Grand Finale 2 in standalone or as an Au on master bus, as of the last 3 months or so. Or a master bus with TB Barricade TB EQ, etc, or Bark Filter with triple band preset.

Ah, I sometimes miss using that plugin. A great way to add a bit of sauce to a signal.

Yep, i'm starting to use it in every instrument, I start with the 3 band preset and then add a couple bands by hand so I end up with a 3 to 8 band compressor, it make instruments pop

I'll have to try that on instruments. I've only used it on the master track, lol.

I get along real well with Igor Vasiliev’s Audio Mastering. It’s well laid out and has a decent bunch of presets.

Not sure what you are referring to, here.
I cannot find an App called "Audio Mastering" from the developer Igor Vasiliev.

When searching for the name, I find "AudioMaster: Audio Mastering" from Future Moments.

I even installed the trial: They have an Pro App for 23,99 euro and a regular version that costs either 5,49 euro monthly for 17,99 euro yearly.

Not only is this concept for prices a bit strange, the cost are also ridiculous high!

In contrast Trinity that I just purchased feels a bit cryptic. I know it’s likely the fact that I don’t want to put in the time to learn the app but maybe that’s what I look it apps: immediacy and ease of operation. Audio Mastering has that nailed.

I installed the trial from https://apps.apple.com/app/audiomaster-audio-mastering/id1091734833 but the layout is horrible for me.

So bad that I need to ask again for a link for the App you are referring to.
Did you mean the App from my link, from Future Moments?
    Or something different?
I would like to compare myself 🤗

    Many thanks!

I was a big “Audio Mastering” user, too, but I think Igor stopped updating it. Not sure if there was an iOS change that caused problems, or some other reason. The app still shows in my Purchased apps, with a last update of March 2017. I have it on my iPad, but I’ve moved on…

Grand Finale has been my mastering solution of choice for a few years. Grand Finale 2 is my new choice — it has more presets than the last one, which I love. Just flip through presets until you find something that sounds good, export it, and it’s done.

I’ve downloaded Trinity, but haven’t tried it yet…

  • @tja — “Audio Mastering” by Igor Vasiliev is no longer on the App Store. I didn’t make that clear in my post above. It’s not the same as the “Audiomaster: Audio Mastering” app that you’ve linked above.

Igor’s app was/is pretty similar to Grand Finale 1/2 — you’d export a WAV out of your DAW, open it in the app, and tweak settings in there:

also use the filter page to cut the low end

Me too except I’m really starting to like Trinity

Haven’t purchased it yet, but it definitely peaked my interest when released and is on my wish list. Good to know.

Same here, was watching the Jade Starr episode on Trinity, seems a straightforward beautiful mastering tool. And the price is so low for what it delivers. About to pull the plug on this as soon as I have my track recorded.
