  • There's an IAP in Pure Synth Platinum called "Sines" that probably scratches this itch.

I'm wondering if taking a typical bass track for routing it over to PSP adjusted down to the lowest octave using AUM's transpose by the right multiple of 12 would help add a nice sub-bass to any MIDI based project. This also sounds like a job for Mozaic and experiments with octave + 5th plus octave options, etc. Maybe add some ADSR volume adjustments to the input note or subtle tweaks of pitch bend. Just writing out loud here.

Moog Model D Ultra Sub patch, warm Moog goodness

  • Hand tailored sub bass:

Any sine generator AugenX is good as is Nambu and almost any synth with basic waveforms

    add to taste
    filtered noise for a impulse
wavefolding (nambu is SUPER at this) or use another plugin like KDevices Shaper

    • gives a bit of top end harmonic bite
    • Use SPARINGLY
    • saturation
    • a tiny bit of compression

don't add too much to the LO end Sine or you'll just create waffly mud.
