Geez. I remember when they first came onto the scene and were all about helping out the bedroom producers. The OP-1 was decently priced, the pocket operators were a steal and unique product. They seem to have forgotten all about that now unfortunately. It’s a shame because the op-1 is really a brilliant device.

They still do a lot of cool stuff that flys under the radar.

There is nothing like the OB-4 and the 170 & 400 modular are very good.

That’s true but the current price of the OP-1 and the field are outlandish, imo.

The table is not really for sale, although if you want to buy it, of course it is for sale. But I don't think that's the point. The people who are outraged at this are the people who would never buy into the TE, uh, vibe. Gen X iOS musicians ranting bout how much Teenage Engineering sucks is kind of the best publicity the company could ask for.

    It's pretty fascinating, really.

The wooden singing dolls are not for sale either, they’re all sold out. €249 a piece.
You seem to believe this is some intelligent spin from TE. That they’re somehow making a point and if I buy a bottle bag for 59€, they’re actually playing a joke on me?... I think you’re over-estimating them.
I agree they might be laughing, though. I would if I had sold all my stock of singing dolls.

@ervin stop pulling my hipster beard!

Any ideas for a good meme?
