I really don’t care about iPhone compatibility so much… however, I played with the beta while traveling in Mexico and found it reasonably easy to use on a small screen. I hope they add it back. I bought it anyway. I love most of their apps. I don’t care about the dev’s attitude toward users so much… he sounds like me towards pretty much everyone on a bad day. Lol ;)

I did ask about the iPhone compatibility on their twitter account. If they answer I’ll pass it on here

Damn it, it isn't universal? Ah well, lol. I usually produce Ambient on my iPad Pro anyways, so no biggie. Now if Gadget weren't Universal, then we'd have an issue. ;)

And the developer's attitude is because so many people are "drive by reviewers", didn't you hear? 🤣 (But seriously, all of the blood sweat and tears go into making these plugins, only for folks to take the piss rather than provide constructive feedback/report bugs. Unless the dev is one of those who takes constructive feedback/bug reports personally.)

Yeah, nothing but respect to AD’s blood, sweat and tears. I totally understand passion and sacrifice. The price is super duper generous. Seems like someone willing to make their hard work available to all, but hurt by some feedback 😟 if he is reading: sir, try not to take the feedback too seriously. There is much value to be gained from most constructive feedback. Here’s a great book about this, I often reference it in my daily work:

  • Hi everyone,
I got a reply from Chris saying that there won’t be iPhone support. So iPad only..

  • This price is them crouching as they prepare for that huge price jump

  • This doesn't sound anything like the Blade Runner sound track. Off to 1 star it for false advertising.

Exactly! AudioDamage's dev works his butt off to give us top-quality products to produce music with. If there's a bug or two that was missed during beta testing, it pays to be polite and courteous when addressing that with said developer. Same goes for all devs.

I assume the Proem patches are made by Proem?

  • Get it while it’s $3.

  • @CapnWillie said:

Could someone identify the name of the effect that is used here on the Bus 4 around the 61 second mark? Yellow box with lowercase "g" looking icon for it. TIA

I think that’s one of the MagicDSP apps

That's it. Thanks @Poppadocrock. I like what it does to the sound, but spendy so maybe I'll look for an alternative (if there is one). :D

This was my second app for March 2023 :sunglasses:
(Twin 3 was the first app in March, so 2 paid apps in March so far).

I've not noticed that at all within the past 30 minutes getting familiar with it on the 11" M1 iPadPro..
...It's a blast in 'send' mode even with a single tone from auGEN X.

Hmm maybe a reboot is in order…

  • I’ve used replicant 2 in almost every project since I bought it, can’t wait to see what 3 offers!

Personally I never 'clicked' with Replicant 2. This one is on another level! (Well deserved 5-stars).

Indeed it was, odd, as I hadn’t noticed that problem on the beta, maybe a strange internal setting wasn’t corrected during the update/overwrite when I installed the App Store version…

  • Been on the beta for this one for a while and it’s a really great app. Instant purchase.

Me too. As an iphone-only user I’ve been enjoying Replicant3 using the open beta. It’s been rock-solid too.

Alas that will end when the beta is pulled from TestFlight 😢

Not to want to further add fuel to the fire, but i wonder at which point they decided it wasn't going to be an iPhone release? Presumably iPhone Beta-testers also contributed to the overall progression of development?

Maybe drive-by reviewers have all been iPhone users? 🤷‍♂️

  • I heard mention of a tutorial video during the beta. Is that available anywhere?
