[Desktop] Synplant 2 announced!!
A long awaited update to beloved desktop app Synplant has been announced, this time featuring Genopatch an AI that generates synth patches out of audio samples. Looks very cool, and I can’t wait to get my hands on this.

I suspected this would be possible soon (generating patches using machine learning) and this sounds interesting.
Best news of my day so far. I like Synplant v1 a lot, I've been waiting for this update for years.
I was only wishing for a re-sizeable UI but it looks like we get some really interesting new features. I hope it sounds great!
v1 was one of my favorite plug ins, so this is great news. In previous conversations (via their beta forums) I've had with Magnus about porting Synplant to iOS, he said he had absolutely zero interest in the idea. I got the impression he didn't want to be stuck following Apple's upgrade cycles and sales % cut.

synplant 2 is almost there. And yes, it is promising, absolutely unbelievable and I had no related crashes (even in Beta).
I'm excited about this, it has been a long wait. I enjoy Synplant 1, this will be even more creative I think.

I am absolutely picking this up. Watched a walk through vid of it and it looks like such fun.
Used the original Synplant yeaaaarssss ago under not so legit circumstances. I’m looking forward to making good on it and buying this when it drops to support a really incredible developer who has done so much for music software (Maelstrom, Pocket Operator shenanigans, lending DSP to Auxy, and of course all the first party plugins)

its insane. imagine this tech in 5 years from now, you will be able to feed the machine an entire loop and have it re-synthesized into whatever you want. The quality of the re-synthesis is blowing me away. Its spot on.
Wow. Synplant 1 was my favorite virtual synthesizer. Synplant 2 is everything I wished for and many things I couldn't have imagined were possible. It sounds amazing. I am so impressed and I'm excited to create with this. I have a busy week ahead
