Is Veganism a diety based religion @LinearLineman 🍆🍌🍎🥑🥒🌱🌽🍉🍋😊
Thanks @thesoundtestroom
But not until you introduce yourself.
You got me @GeoTony. My spelling has gone to shit since I started a one meal a day no carb/sugar diet. Now that’s controversial! Results so far… stopped 80mg Prilosec a day regime after forty years of acid reflux.
Nice! Forum lurk-space re-expanded.
This is a welcome development. Completely understand the need to keep the peace and keep things on topic, but the opportunity to broaden out a little at times is welcome.
Stick with it man - it’s the only way to go. I’m comfortable at the moment on 20:4 with minimal carbs and no sugar. Stir in some HIIT if you can - that will enhance all your benefits.
Don’t know if such thing exists in other countries but we used to have A/B weeks in school
We could try that next... you can watch but can’t comment...
“Sorry you can’t log in this time, try again next week”
I looked up HIIT. Not sure it’s good for a soon to be 75 yr old. There’s a lot of levels to this. The most interesting is breaking the lifelong rule that we require 3 meals a day (plus 3 snacks!) to survive in style.
This is actually made up stuff. Historically and prehistorically no one counted on three regular meals unless you were rich. Which narrative is the body based on? Have lost about four pounds in two weeks and feel less fatigued along with much less gastric problems. Don’t feel too full anymore even if I didn’t eat that much.
I recommend trying this. It changes a lot of things. Including making eating much more satisfying (when you do it 😉🙏
I’m sure seniors do HIIT as well - I can’t find much if anything at all to say it’s not safe - there is a range of health benefits. You can do it in as little as 3 mins a week too

Thanks @robosardine.
If you have to ask “is this too controversial?” Then it is. Good rule of thumb

Not allowing to self loath would be undemocratic.
I wonder if we're gonna need a Logic Pro category.
+1 I agree. Logic Pro is a pretty huge deal, and it would be great to mitigate threads about it into its own category @Michael @thesoundtestroom @CapnWillie
We do. +1000 and we need it ASAP.
Just a question is it possible to hidden in the forum some threads I am not interested in as there so much flood now ?
How do you do that in your settings?
Nope.
Thanks now with ball LP thread it is too much to handle or read
I just hit "Recent Discussions" and scan the first page of threads and only enter those I'm interested in. If I run out of threads then I go to page 2 or 3. Rarely make it past those. I don't really see the problem of having unread threads. On the other hand English is my native language, so maybe scanning a page of threads is a little easier for me, not having to translate.
You would enjoy the book 'The Warrior Diet', if you haven't read it.
As far as reflux goes, things like garlic, onions and bread are often major culprits. You can fry onions and garlic in oil (no water added), then throw out the actual onions and garlic and just use the flavoured oil.
It's interesting that Western docs often recommend eating smaller meals more regularly for reflux sufferers. As with some other conditions, I think the general western medical approach to reflux is misguided at best and counterproductive at worst (my understanding is that taking prilosec regularly can increase changes of getting some other digestive issues. Excessive stomach acid production is highly unlikely in my view to be the cause of reflux. Things that cause gas and bloating in an out of balance digestive system are the cause.
I appreciate this move very much. I still haven’t really fully recovered from that what happened in the off-topic section.
Do buddhists recommend a low-shalt diet?
