I'm totally lost. Could please tell me how to export (share) my own preset from Mozaic app to Files? The menu tree allows me only to choose preset (then the preset is automatically loaded and preset dialog is closed) or save it. I can't focus the preset nor tap to "share preset".

Load the preset, then go back to the dialog and press the share preset button. The currently loaded preset will be shared.

  • @wim Thanks! I see I was almost there.
Why is the "share preset" action dialog labeled as "Save Preset" instead of "Share Preset?"

I dunno. It all seems a little half baked tbh.
But I appreciate all the added features, even if there are some rough edges.

  • Hey @wim - I have questions about your Mozaic script Chord Scale Quantize.
I thought I’d give it a try feeding chords from the SpaceWalk app. It ain’t workin’.

Here’s what I did: In AUM Spacewalk, AFAIK, won’t let me choose a midi out channel so I used another Mozaic script to send its output to channel 2. I used MidiSpy to check if it was working and it was.

I route it to Chord Scale Quantize set to receive on channel 2.
Hit play: nothing; no chords are being recognized by it.

To test it again, I used the AUM keyboard set to channel 2 into your script. Nope.
I am using the latest version of your script. Any guesses what’s happening? Am I doing something wrong?

Can you provide a screen shot showing the knob settings and your MIDI destination? I'm not seeing any problems here.

  • Just asking. Are you both using the MIDI Channel number (1..16), not the message channel number (0..15)?

Thank you! I’ll send it soon but probably not today . Shouldn’t the pads light up as notes/chords come in?

Yes. And they do for me, so we need to figure out what's going on.

I did do an update adding some features not too long ago, so it's possible I screwed something up. I haven't had any other reports of problems, but that doesn't mean there aren't any.

After you confirmed it works I knew I must be doing something wrong and I found it now. I had tried using AUM's channel filter and that was goofing me up. After I set it back to receive on all midi channels (but kept the other Mozaic channel router in place) it works perfectly! So, thanks again for your help and apologies for taking up your time.

Also, I stopped using Spacewalk and find that improvising my own chords as input is much more interesting.

Great - glad you got it working. Channel filtering was my first guess. 👍🏼
