I’m not really deleting anything until it gets here and I see the storage space needed. I’m not solely gonna be working in Logic (I’m never leaving AUM) so I’ll still need/want all of my favorite synth/drum/sampler/effect apps.

Same. Logic Pro will most likely become my main DAW, but you can't top the fun of live performing in AUM!

That said, I wonder if my AUM workflow will change slightly from recording to a master track to just recording stems to mix down in Logic Pro. 🤔 Remains to be seen.

Logic Pro is not the right tool to jamming. Like any traditional daw are not for jamming. So AUM, Loopy Pro and other apps still are more fit for Jam and live music.

We weren’t talking about jamming in Logic Pro. The comment was about taking the recorded stems from AUM jams and dumping them into logic to master/tweak them. But as @Samu said, there’s plenty of jam-capable things in Logic Pro now.

Yes you can do jam but you don’t get the jam free feeling with LP. If you are a pro in front of 20 000 people you will use more Ableton Live , some harware too and controlers. If you are just a hobbyist, like I am, IPad and some specific jaming apps are pretty good with a novation controler.

My LaunchPadPro Mk3 works quite well when I'm in 'Looping Mood' :sunglasses:

I know many that use MainStage when playing live and that's in practice the Logic engine with some performance related UI additions... (Which makes me wonder if Apple will drop MainStage for the iPad as well).

...I just can't stand Ableton, sorry...

  • If logic is good for launching audio clips live.

Might have to get an ipad air 5. If this ipad could deal with it ( not a 16gb )

As were thinking to just make clip based music.

Just by deciding to make more clip based style music. Which would suit more a clip based launcher.

    Nathan fake kinda style 4/4.

I don’t use Ableton so don’t be sorry 😂 and never try it too expensive to buy and worst to upgrade. Ableton is Out of my budget.
