@brambos I found a workaround that allowed me to get dmt's preset pack into Hilda. I shared it to Hilda from directly within Gmail. This worked, whereas sharing the zip directly from files did not. Strangely, I tried this hack before for Tera Pro, doesn't work, but at least it works for me with Hilda.

Now, about drag and drop - all these presets have now landed in my User bank. I made a separate bank called dmt. How do I add all of them at once to the new DMT bank? Obviously dragging and dropping each one individually is not ideal. Ideally these should not even have been added to the user folder. There would ideally be a pop-up on import asking you which bank you want to add them to, or giving you an option to make and name a new bank.

If the presets had been zipped as a folder, the folder (with all presets in it) would have automatically been added as a bank.
If presets are zipped individually (i.e. not in a folder) they will be added to the normal user folder and you have to manually drag and drop them where you want them to be.

No it's not ideal. But I've wasted enough time working around Apple's silly file constraints. It's up to them now to make our lives easier.

I know you did your best . Apple need really to help all dev making things easier as now LP iOS will certainly be the new standard Daw.

  • This app is an instant classic for me, just like like ripplemaker! The update rules and shows even more ideas via presets. Oh, thanks to Pedro for the idea too. I think this synth must have 'magic' something about it...where I create things in mind that I could not b4. The interface is great too. I wonder how they named it Hilda?

  • "I wonder how they named it Hilda?"

"Hilda the Wicked Witch" by Paul Kater
    famous dutch book(s)

    ( Strega = witch in italian )

Also in Slovakia, it’s “Striga” here :-)

Ripplemaker and Hilda for me best two Bram’s plugins ever.

Yes. I’m just simple synth guy 😂

Maybe an unusual request, but Bram could you maybe please share some behind the scenes, director’s comments, making of, snippets? Just for fun…
Nothing fancy but if you could spare a few words, I’m sure everyone would love to hear how you put this together, what were your major challenges, discoveries, anything you could share, really…
Guess I’m asking for an interview with a single question: Hilda, what up?

I'll second this, I've thoroughly enjoyed Bram's writing on apps, music, design and other topics:

We should also have a thread where everyone posts pictures of what they think Hilda looks like, cause I’m having some juicy thoughts 😍

(Since reading this article, I’ve called Ruismaker "nu AOA" in my mind. This name is pronounced by the human soul. It’s too cool to write or read… So I won’t tell it to anyone in this world.)
