  • Thanks for the explanation. That was most illuminating.

I think I may see a possible answer here. In your first static example, you showed the phase align setting on the Reverse dial and I assumed (we all know what happens when you do that) that's the only place it needs to be.

I also noticed that when putting Phase Align on the Rate buttons you created for your latest video, you have it on both the "on" and "off" functions. You're original static example only showed it for the "on" function and I once again assumed.

What's interesting is that despite these differences, you are seeing my project work correctly. I am confused as to how my project is working correctly for you given the settings I left out.So I think we do indeed have different definitions of "working correctly" here.

I'm going to get all my settings similar to what you show in your latest video and see what that does. If it's still not "working" I will get a video recorded and post it.

    Thanks again.

  • Okay, here's where I have to sound as moronic as I feel right now:

I've got a video example of my problem recorded on my iPad but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it here.

I figured I could move it from the iPad to my computer using Files and a USB stick and then upload it to Imgur and link to it from there.

But what got moved to the stick (and then on the computer) is a folder titled Workspace.lpproj that doesn't contain the 10MB video.

Sorry to have to ask this but what stupidly simple thing am I not understanding?

I recommend that you upload the video to YouTube and post a link. That’s what most of us do when sharing video when you upload to YouTube, you can mark it as “unlisted”

  • I know it's been a looong time since I last posted and I dropped off the forum pretty suddenly (life gets in the way), but I'm back.

Despite Loopy Pro's obvious quality and Michael's obvious genius, I have had to admit that Loopy Pro is not going to be the solution for me. Not because I've found something better in terms of functionality - I haven't - but because I am just not equipped to make it work. Yes, it's the classic "it's not you, it's me" breakup line.

The main purpose of this post is to thank everyone here, most especially @espiegel123, for all the effort and thought you put into helping me in my attempts to become a Loopy Pro pro. I've said it before and I'll say it once more: this has proven to be the most helpful and welcoming online community in which I've ever participated.

I wish you all the best and many, many loops in the future.
