Mi-Rack is home to some nice big verbs.
Really? Mine crashes on attempted open. Can't even get it to work. And I've even offloaded and reinstalled it.
‘Project 16’?! You really love to name things.
About LL, trying to restrain myself from using it. Need to make a few IR when I still can, so I can have some of this magic for years to come.
You scared me for a moment. Tested LL, works just fine. 😎
(iPad Pro M2, 16.5)
Yep, working fine.
Yeah I don’t name things until they start becoming something. Right now, I have a lot of “test” projects, y’know, seeing if this and that work with Logic.
I wish they’d give us a “Save As”!
My go-to reverb is the ToneBoosters one. Very natural sounding, with EQ, modulation etc.
Working fine for me in AUM
Yes, It’s a shame, you need to; close the project -> find icon -> long tap on it -> select ‘duplicate’ -> find this new icon -> long tap on it -> select ‘rename’ -> give the freaking name -> open it.
Some professionals at Apple think this is better than simple ‘Save as’. 😂
Yeah - madness. And somehow these geniuses are considered worthy of being paid a fortune. One can only scratch one’s head, lol
Never got into that one, too slick for me despite it has the modulation options. Funny how personal a reverb can be.
I just find it very workmanlike - just does the job, and the EQ really helps.
I’ve got loads of the things - Eventide, Velvet, UA Tails, I bought Alteza a few weeks back, etc. etc., but most tend to sound fake - good fx, but all with their own characters.
The TB reverb (to my ears) just sounds more natural, so I’d use that as a reverb, whereas the others more as ‘special’ fx.
Out of curiosity, did you pay for the full version, or did you just get the free version? I'm wondering if that's the difference... I paid for the full upgrade.
The paid version of LL works fine for me in AUM and Loopy Pro
I think Fabfilter Pro R is a really nice choice for natural sounding. I have tone boosters and remember it being good but for some reason never really started using it regularly
I have the full upgrade, yes
Mine is free version. Working fine.
Thanks for all the great feedback. I figured they were both great in their own right, each with some unique qualities.
That’s another good one I own.
I believe the only difference, if my memory serves me, was the ability to sync the delay. I remember it was only one feature but it was like $20.
Yes, that's right. I think it was $19.99 or $24.99... something like that.
One difference I remember was that you only got the 3rd plate delay in the paid version.
I couldn’t find LL in the App Store. I removed it for space.
It's gone
Yep. It and the developer left the App Store. Since I cannot use it I'm considering requesting a refund from Apple.
UPDATE: Apple not cooperating on the refund. And it was $9.99 for the full version apparently.
Thanks for confirming. Maybe in previous purchases or something but it’s been awhile.
I have the paid version as well. Working fine as of todays date.
I think Cascade is more fun to play with. I like it's sound slightly better than Blackhole. I also love the GUI design of Cascade MUCH better than Blackhole.
I still use it! Do wish the dev could’ve seen it through though. One of the best effects we’ve had on iOS, imo.
maybe it's more fun, but it definitely doesn't sound better)
I beg to differ.
