I do wonder when these will start shipping. They did say summer and we’re heading towards the middle of June.

They meant summer 2033 not summer 2023.

  • How’s the quality in their synths these days? I tried the Deepmind, Neutron, and Odyssey and had to exchange all of them at least once due to a myriad of issues so I’ve kinda sworn them off. But now I’m tempted by their mini Volca like synths. So many features for the price and size and since I have no studio space, those are perfect for occasional jams. I’m just nervous about the quality control.

Good question, seems like the Model D has held for many, I’ve seen some successful, long-term tests on YouTube 😌

  • epic. i plan to snag quite a few of these.

I’ve have quite a few Behringer synths, had the occasional problem which Behringer fixed, the customer service can sometimes be hit or miss, but I could say that about most other gear manufacturers I have ever owned.

At the moment I’ve got the Pro800 it’s already had several firmware updates, although it’s still got bugs, but it’s their first attempt at a full midi spec, with midi CC control.

One sort of, I got a DM12 keyboard the voice spread wasn’t panning left-right it was the same signal from both outputs, after a lengthy back and forth with customer service, it was during the pandemic, they eventually arranged to pick it up, a few weeks later it returned all fixed, glorious stereo and still works fine.

I had that issue as well, and many others. I really liked the DM overall though. As far as sound and features. The Neutron sounded excellent as well. The Odyssey was the problem child of the bunch for me. Went through 2 units

Probably down to sloppy testing before shipping, although with my Mono-Poly the filter was closed down to 8kHz as per the original spec, you just had to get a screwdriver open up the filter pot on it’s rear, my friend nearly bought one for peanuts back in the land that time forgot about analogs. <3
