WOOTT now available on MacOS (M + Intel AUv3)
https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/woott/id1511149985?l=en
As an experiment I have made WOOTT available on Mac, on Intel & M systems (MacOS 11+).
This means that you can use it in your iPad Logic projects and they will transfer seamlessly to Mac (and vice versa).
I have tested on Ableton Live and it seems to be working without issues as well.
Note 1:
This is a free universal update if you already own WOOTT - just for this time - because I intend to learn from it. If the App Store asks you to pay again, it will tell you at some point that you already own the app and the update is free. Annoying bug, after all these years it's still there.
Note 2:
Just for expectations management: this is just an experiment and not a guarantee that I will be bringing other apps over to MacOS
Note 3:
If I decide to do so, they may not be free upgrades like this

@brambos Sweet! One of my favorites. This is good news and I personally appreciate all the work you put in. Thank you.
Thanks for doing intel too. Great. Will try out in Ableton later. There are a lot of intel Mac’s out there….
Nice!
Re 2 and 3: Please bring Rozeta to the Mac, I'll gladly pay for it again...
Thank you very much. I’m going to buy it.
Great news thanks @brambos
Thank you very much
Hm, could this be done as an iAP?
So that it only runs on Mac, if „crosssystem“-iAP is made. And if so the „full“ app, which could be in the Mac-only-store would than work full, if there is this IOS-iAP or the MacOS-iAP. If you understand what I mean 🤭
If this could be done, you could offer„loyalty pricing“ or „upgrade“ pricing. Just an idea
It's probably possible. I kinda like the FAC model, where there is a separate Mac price for the same app. Much simpler to maintain and manage. But let's not get ahead of ourselves![:D :D](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Congrats Bram! Do you think by the way the amount sliders in the middle of the screen, in the ios version could be made multi touch? Currently can only manipulate one at a time.
Hope this leads to more ports and helps being more desktop users to ios 🔥
Awesome! I don’t use desktop but I’m sure this will be great for those that do. On a side note I finally got WOOTT a couple of weeks ago and man it’s wonderful.

Just a little short with WOOTT on Hilda. Link to WOOTT walkthrough etc in the pinned comment. Even though Hilda is already gnarly, WOOTT can bring out a lot of detail!
Just bought it. I want to support devs who provide full round trip operability between Mac and IPad Logic Pro.
Are there any plans to update any of your other apps. I own quite a few.
See post #1![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Great news, thanks, would happily pay for a separate mac version of any others.
Thanks @brambos this is great news! Echoing others here, I will happily pay for Mac versions of your other plugins.
Woo!
This vid now has 3 giveaways for any Bram app btw. Thanks Bram!
Round trip is valuable to me. I appreciate this and it adds value to your plugin, but fyi, I would not purchase these again separately.
If something is “valuable” to you, why do you expect to get it for free? Bram is supposed to go to all the trouble of porting his plugins and get nothing in return?
bram, please dont port your apps to desktop. i mean why would i want to use incredible drum synths like ruismaker, when i can just use splice samples. why would i want to use apps like gauss, that just make your good sounding, not overused by everyone else splice samples sound like some worn out tape. Why would i want Fluss on desktop, when i could just take a bunch of splice samples, and cut super tiny micro edits and copy and paste them by hand for hours until i have some sort of granular sound?
YES!!! Thanks @brambos !!!
I think it was the right move. Looking forward to more!
LOL. I remember suggesting bringing your apps to macOS for a looooong time and you said (paraphrasing) not gonna happen. 😂 Still, it's a great move and looking forward to ALL of your apps coming to desktop.
No matter how they choose to do it, I'm all for developers bringing their plugins to both mobile and desktop platforms. We're in a new world now.
It's fun to see WOOTT running in GarageBand on the Mac.
btw, mistakenly searching for "woot" in the MacOS App Store didn't come up with anything. I dunno if there's anything that can be done about that but I thought I'd mention it.
Other than paying Apple for nudging WOOTT to the top of the search results, probably not![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
What I was pointing out is that searching with only one T in the name doesn't find WOOTT. This could happen for those not familiar with the app. Searching with the proper name does find it. I don't know if there are search keywords you can add or something.
Weird , it’s not showing up in Logic Pro or Ableton Live on my 2020 Intel MacBook Pro running Big Sur
It's an AUv3 plugin. I don't know what version of Live you're using, but older versions don't support AUv3, only the earlier AU format. I can't speak for Logic.
Im seeing it in Logic Pro on Mac.
Relative to the App Store. Look at your purchased items.
