This sounds great. Is it all modeled audio or is it a combo of modeled and samples? I noticed the the app is quite small as far as download size goes.

Would love to see many more synths and other keyboard-based noisemakers from AudioThing.

Thank you! The core DSP is fully modeled, samples are only used for the speakers and the reverb, as impulse responses.
As explained before, samples and regular synthesis don't really work well to replicate the octave dividers that drive these kinds of organs.

And yes, we plan to release more instruments in the future. We have a nearly finished Wurlitzer emulation plugin that will complement the Philicorda nicely :)

The Wurlitzer will be on iOS as well? That’s an instrument that generally seems to get overlooked so I’m exciting to know something specifically for that is coming :)

Side question are you guys planning on bringing any of your drum plugins to iOS?

That's a good question (about the drum plugins).

I’ve been hoping for an announcement of one ever since they started porting things.

Yes, that's the plan! At the moment, the only plugin we can't port is Fog Convolver as it heavily uses file management (which is a pain on iOS).

Ugh yes file management on iOS sucks so I understand but that’s awesome news otherwise, thanks! 🙏

Yeah, that's the reason why Noises uses its own editor on iOS, and on desktop just plain files through the OS.
