  • @dendy I think you started my decent into a deep psy rabbit hole 🐰

Whenever I listen to your stuff I realise I probably like psytrance, actually

well, validate this feeling with some actual real psytrance cause the mine is a kinda weird style, definitely not exactly like it should be :)))

This is how it SHOULD sound in case i would take a more care about having "standard modern psy" sound :)
But that would mean lot of hard work, which is not fun, so i take just elements which are (for me) easy to make, i prefer to have fun during creating, bypassing the "hard work part" LOL :)

Thanks, well, maybe I don't like psytrance that much after all... 🤣 Definitely prefer your version in any case, so keep up your lazy approach 👍

Yeah, this is the modern Psytrance type genre, although many other genres of Psytrance (like all music) are less full on (not sure if that’s the right term here) like Psychill and Psybient may be more to taste. Here is a more laidback psytrance influenced compilation:

  • Lots of Psychill people on the forum, that's a good thing. Isn’t it?! 😎

Yeah.. actually i am listening psychill/psybient all the day, it helps me concentrate during coding a LOT .. it works almost like real nootropics on my brain :))

Thank you for the education. Much appreciated. I'm still into psydendy 😁more than anything, but this is really more to taste.

  • Like a few others I started listening to this thinking it wasn’t going to work for me but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Your mastery of NS2 leaps out. I bought it on 22nd October 2019 and have probably loaded it twice . Just shows what an idiot I am 🤨

nah nope … everybody uses different set of tools .. nobody has infinite time to try everything … ingot just lucky that matt dragged me to beta testing deep in 2015 which defined my musicmaking journey for many years ahead

Same for me with coding + neurofunk/darkstep :)

Basically all sounds excluding drums are made with many instances of @bleassapp synths - Monolit, Megalit and Omega. So this little track can be considered as Bleass synths demo

Of course, also lot of grear FX’s involved - except of NS2 stock plugins also a hell lot of AU’s : @FredAntonCorvest Medusa (does true magic master !!), Chorus, Phaser and Transient (must have on drums), @CaelumAudio Choric (fantastic creative chorus), Beef (very musical overdrive/distortion module), Klevgrand Luxe, @brambos Woot, Bleass Delay.

Thanks to all devs for your great work, your tools are incredibly inspirative !

    Very very nice! Congratulations!

iam still looking for a reliable oscilloscope in ios, to phase align kick and bass.

I’m trying to use Oscilloscope from Blue Mangoo, at least it can pause on the signal, but it’s not enough to clearly visualise phase (also it doesn’t support multiple input signals).
I couldn’t say whether there’s anything else more valid on the market.
