Classic Electric works, but has nested zip files. You need to unzip it then find the right ones.

    Would like to know also

    Ok, here are the steps:
    1. Download this
    https://pianobook.co.uk/packs/rjs-classic-electric/

    1. Unzip it
You now have a RJS Classic Electric v1_1 folder. Go into it, and see two subfolders.

    2. Copy 'Electric' and 'Chords' samples from RJS Classic Electric folder to RJS Classic Electric (DS) folder
The samples are in the kontact folder by default, we want them in the DS folder instead...

It should now look like this

    1. Go back one level and Compress the RJS Classic Electric (DS) folder to create a new zip file

    2. Share the zip file into DS

    Many thanks!

    Thanks! Gonna try this now

Edit: worked like a charm! Thank you 🙏

Very calm and soothing piece. Looking at the chords, it seems easier to play on a real guitar than on a small piece of glass. Even on a 12.9 iPad, those triads must require great deal of dexterity. I would get tendinitis playing this with Geoshred, you're an expert, Tony ! I'll stick to my fretboard !

I think I’m going to stick with my fretboard as well, but not for the same reasons as you.

I don’t have any issues with “performing” these chords and such on the glass w/GeoShred, but all this renaming, re-zipping, dslibrary this, and all these different files and formats that, just seems like a lot of work to me.

Is there a straight forward set of instructions for this process somewhere? A thread on the specific topic maybe?

    @GeoTony

You mean instructions for downloading and installing the sample packs?

Yeah, but more of the converting the Pianobook stuff (Kontakt files?) for Decent Sampler use I guess.

I know the documentation is out there. Probably right in front of me. I guess I’m just lazy.

There’s this comment, on the “RJS Classic electric” page that made me back off from even trying:

Tricky on IOS, but worth the effort
This guitar sounds fabulous. Alas, there is some effort required to get it working on IOS. The key thing to understand (no pun intended) is to follow the instruction in the ReadMe to the letter, THEN re-zip the package and rename its extension from .zip to .dslibrary. At that point you can tap on the file you just renamed and install it to Decent. Any other way just results in error messages.

Honestly for 75% of the time or more, just downloading, clicking share and selecting DS works for me. Sometimes it does require renaming the folder or even zipping and unzipping but you could probably get a lot of what you want with no real hassle at all.
