Oof, trying to get this iPhone 14 Pro Max was a pain in the bum. Spent over an hour with Verizon trying to get that shit figured out, rofl. Now it's all functioning just fine, and I'm setting it up with all the music apps.

Switching over to iPhones or just using it as an extra music maker? I can’t keep track of which iPads and phones you have now 😂

I have all my apps from my iPad on my phone as well, just in case lol. I usually only use Koala on my phone and sometimes a couple of others but I guess it’s nice they’re there 😂

Oops, I meant to type "trying to get this iPhone 14 Pro Max to have service was a pain in the bum". Took me and Verizon over an hour to get the phone some service. 😳

I have AT&T unfortunately and an hour sounds great compared to what i usually get with them lol. I’ve been on the phone with them for an entire evening before 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yeah Verizon is definitely better than AT&T and other carriers, in my own opinion ymmv.

Agreed. I much preferred Verizon when I had them. But I’ve had AT&T for like 8 years now and just haven’t bothered changing lol I guess I like torture 😂

Lol, well at least you're not a complete masochist. At least you're not using an Android phone. 😂 Every Android phone I've ever used always had one problem or another, and not enough robust music apps, and no auv3 plugins.

(Although Android is great if you're just looking for just a phone lol.)

I was never really an Android guy. My first smartphone was an iPhone 2 or 3G I believe and I’ve had one ever since. I just don’t like the UI and overall feel of android devices even though the camera and screens are top tier. And the google phone has that cool Teenage Engineering app. Still not enough tho 😂

Exactly! One TE app isn't enough to make me switch, rofl. The reason I had Android phones was they were cheaper, and I used my iPod Touch for music creation apps on the go. Then in 2017, I had a revelation. Why not just use a frickin iPhone? x'D

My first PC had a 120mb HDD. I won't talk about the ASR10 or Atari ST. My University lecturer was the first in his home town to buy a HDD, 4mb for $800. And you we are walking around with a terabyte in your pocket.

I deliberately chose less storage to prevent hoarding like I do on my iPad.

I only downloaded the apps I need rather than all of them, lol. I needed more storage for PSP2, Module Pro, and Beathawk, and my collection of samples lol.

Smart phones weren’t even a thing until I was well into my late teens but even then I didn’t really want an android 😂 had an iPod touch for a while but I went through all of the others too. OG, Nano, Shuffle, Video, Classic lol.

Looking back I really miss the iPods. I use Spotify and Bandcamp now obviously but the video and touch were so cool with the ability to watch movies and videos and play games.

Wait I’m just describing a phone 😂 but why does the touch seem so much cooler than a smart phone?? Rofl

The iPhone is basically an iPod Touch with phone capabilities. 😂

I know I know. There’s just something about an iPod touch. I think having that disconnect from everything else. Even though I know if I had an iPod touch now I’d end up putting tiktok on it and be the same thing

LOL! Right!? That's why I have notifications disabled for most apps except phone and text. 😂
