I guess these things are a reminder that appaholism has its good side lol. I bought all the Amazing Noises and apeSoft apps available shortly after I got serious about ipad music. Wish now, for example, that I had also got all the PPG apps. But hey, there are so many ways to skin a cat and really, most of us don't need or don't use even a tiny number of the apps we have on any regular basis. I just wish the inbuilt modulation system these apps use was adopted by all devs. Something equally as powerful as these, or even better perhaps, should really be mandatory additions to all apps. So few apps have truly great internal modulation possibilities.

Yes the modulation in their apps is a huge plus. I do kinda get annoyed that it takes away the double tap to reset knob position function but it’s a fair trade off I suppose.

I bought all of the Apesoft apps (except ApeMatrix) and most of the Amazing Noises. It’s just those 2 I skipped on and now it’s too late 😂 luckily I have tons of other limiters and delays but those 2 did seem to have a unique approach.

Sad I missed the PPG apps as well. I never had any of them for some reason. I guess at the time I thought Nave was enough lol which it honestly probably was but it would be nice to still have the PPG ones around.

They’re back in the App Store now.

Thanks! I just saw that. Very tempted to grab one of the 2 I’m missing but with Igor’s new app coming out today it looks like they’re gonna have to wait. Glad they’re back though.

I already told you this on the 10th, and you thanked me for that info then too 😂

    Whatever you're smoking, it's primo shit! 😉 🍃

Hey man my brain isn’t always firing on all cylinders okay 😂

No worries haha - same here, my memory is really shot. I blame excessive phone and social media use, in my personal case. Though now that I'm in Thailand where weed is legal, rather than China where it's asking for jail time, I should probably add some weed to the list of things destroying my memory 😂

For sure. I also have ADHD and am very much neurodivergent in a few ways lol so that doesn’t help either.

Side note: hell yeah man smoke one up for me 💨 it’s legal in like half the states here in the US and medically legal in majority but I wish it could just be legal nationwide already.

Thanks for the tip. I do have apedelay from the amazing noise/ ape category, I have pretty much everything. I thought I needed classic fx, but that’s Igor. I was thinking of a Vintage something? which I don’t have.

I also don’t have reverb FDN, or apefilter.

Thoughts on those three? They’re only ones missing from my stash.

ClassicFX and Vintage Rack are both Igor apps and I highly recommend them both. But VintageRack is a lot more accessible. ClassicFX still has the older, less accessible Igor UI, so if you don’t like something like Beatcutters interface, I’d avoid classic and just go for vintage rack.

Reverb FDN is a great experimental reverb. It can be a little on the cold side but can lead to some really cool atmospheric, icy sounds. ApeFilter is really good too and one of my favorite filter apps probably. If you buy it, just be weary because it can get LOUD. Might wanna throw a limited on the channel first.

I think it’s, you NEED a limiter on Ape Filter! It can get into danger levels pretty easily. Fantastic filter, especially with all the usual Ape modulation options.

For sure. And there’s no warning. Once you load it up, it’s loud as hell 😆
