I think SKIIID and Motto Akemie haven't been mentioned, yet
I really like Tekno from Baby Audio. The dev behind ChowDSP worked on it. Some really, really good sounds.
Battalion is a nice iPhone drum synth- using it more now with PolyPipes. It makes the randomization options pretty interesting between the two.
You making good drums.
Battalion ( just recording audio loops ) and trigger ( like mute states even )
Does solve dealing with midi
But now Iv found a good way to sample and tinker.
Midi is looking ok again.
If you see.
When I load a track in Drambo ( to sample Drum machines ) to then add to any of the 14 tracks. At the mo they are acoustic. The same 14 drums for over a year.
Tracks have a + to load track and then just named without a + to clear track.
When on a track.
It always links you to the name, so its not a case of searching for drum track chain.
Thump one and Fac are similar with the envelope style.
Blipbox.
Synth drum kick.
Fractal bits.
2 x Skiiid.
Amen break generstor.
Plus the actual 14 tracks.
14 tracks sit well on Drambo expanded sequencer without adjusting up or down.
Dont mind adjust for a bass.
14 tracks is way enough anyway.
A spare ipad is also more useful than a launchpad x.
Fac seems best ( sampled )
Also through a Drambo fm module, is better than fm drum machines, by way of fm and non fm.
You can have it full fm or through a mixer for partial fm ( which is better )
More versatile on a sample basis.
Switch from a normal sound and fm sound ( as a sample )
Easy layering of same sounds to sample ( because its a multi drum machine )
My multi app drum controller is already ( semi redundant )
