I picked this one up, and I have to say the rusty air guitar is driving me nuts because it's not in tune! For example play a G chord, the three 'g' notes are all a bit sharp or flat from each other. I'm guessing the guitar sampled didn't have very good intonation? If it's supposed to be that way cause it's "rusty", that's fine. But you should also then give us another acoustic guitar that's better tuned.
Anyway, my two cents on improvements would be the ability to save and load chord groups. Also some different strumming/picking patterns that operate at the touch of a button, again, save/loadable. Oh, and why the weird muted guitar sound? Nobody plays acoustic guitar like this unless they made a mistake. Is it a short midi notes option or something?
Hi @Coloobar,
Thank you for your feedback! A new feature update including mostly user requests is in its final stage before submission, also adressing some of your suggestions

You are right, hence the name "Rusty Air". In the new version theses samples will be tighter. There is also another guitar sampled there, called "Synthetic Wired" which is sharper and in tune. Available in the Sound Selections. The next version will include 12-string emulation
Another way to change sound is using MIDI out to other apps able to process MIDI in.
I'm not sure which muted sound you mean? Great if you could give some details.
Some from the next update:
Chord groups - check! (but I call it chord banks)
Strumming/picking patterns - no promises, but there is a "Chord Builder" and "Dynamic Strum speed"
Thanks for the update I did notice that the synthetic wired was better with intonation, but was also missing the natural acoustic timbre.
I was talking about the sound made when tapping on a string, rather that plucking/strumming it. It's easy to make that sound when you don't want to, and it's not a "normal" acoustic sound, thus it sounds like an error.

This will be a little improved too, with some more samples. For example won't 4th string on fret 5 longer be the same as open 3rd string and so on.
I totally agree. Therefore there will be a toggle button "Play Out" to choose. The short note is made by tapping the strings. Swiping a string makes a long note.
Sounds great, thanks. I was able to try routing midi from my DAW into GuitarCapo+ and I was very impressed with the results. It makes the app so very useful!
