I tried the demo for Standard and I think I'll stick with Stage for now. The mic stuff is cool, but I was really just hoping for more noise options which it doesn't give you, so I went ahead and picked up the Hohner pack for now (it's amazing).

If you press on the image of the instrument, in the standard demo, a whole panel opens up where you can adjust things like pedal noise and a host of other stuff. I think it's well worth having standard. Best to give the manual a quick read!

  • That screenshot is from pianoteq 7, grabbed off Google, but you get the idea. Just try Standard demo again, press on the instrument image, and see all the options that come up.

  • @Gavinski oh nice! I knew about the lower right controls (Action, Mallet Bounce, etc.), but I wasn't aware of the other instrument panel. Thanks man!
