11.5GB for this SY99/77 synth, and 28GB for the EX5 synth bought earlier from Jamal…
Thanks for chiming in here and responding. Love your apps and am definitely gonna be grabbing this one tonight.
i love these apps, but when streaming from HDD, there is an obvious lag in switching presets, and sometimes even loading the patches themselves. I'm assuming this is a streaming from HDD thing only.
Glad I forgot to purchase it yesterday (I thought I did), but luckily my ADHD came through for me and saved me 10 quid. 😂
Hahahaha I know the feeling 😂 I’m gonna grab it later on tonight as well
Hey! Just wanted to drop in as a proud owner of both the SY77 and SY99 (recently sold the latter) and the fellow behind King of FM. I happily bought the TGX-99. What do I think? I think it's totally worth the $9.99, even if you're already jamming with King of FM. Playing around with the TGX sounds, you can tell GM poured their heart and soul into those samples - loving it big time. Sounds really great.
Plus, it's like 40lbs lighter than lugging around the actual hardware. If you have the hard drive space, and like the sounds in King of FM – I'd say jump on it. Now, who wants to buy my SY77? 😂
Expansion is the way to go
You don’t get iPhone version with stand-alone version
Very humble of you! I don’t have enough space in my iPad to buy right now but it’s gonna be first in my list when I get an SSD (or upgrade iPads). I’m glad King of FM has some of these sounds though. I use it all the time.
U could just buy it and cancel the download no? Then download when u have your new device with more space
I think you need to buy the IAP first, then go to settings, and download. But regardless, Gav's right HotStrange. Get the IAPs while the sale is on! Ridiculously affordable but top quality as usual from @GospelMusicians
Man, I respect you even more as a dev (as if I didn't already respect you). I got King of Digital as well as the other King apps, Saga, SNESynth, etc. Keep up the excellent work!
@Gavinski @jwmmakerofmusic
Always the most obvious thing that I never think of 🤦🏻♂️ probably the best option. Never done that though, does it actually work? Will the App Store let you buy something that if you don’t technically have enough storage?
One way to find out mate. 😉
True that. I’ll report back if all fails lol
Sounds good mate.
No idea but I reckon it would, and there's nothing to lose. If you paid for it you have the right to it, so I wouldn't worry!
True that. I’m probably gonna give it a shot tomorrow night after I get paid and see if it all goes well. Shame I won’t be able to use it until I get an SSD but that shouldn’t be too much longer.
I’m gonna watch Doug’s video first to see if I truly need it. Sound wise I’m sure it’s great but whether or not it does something far beyond what I already have, I’m not sure. I’ve been a lot more conscious about what I’m buying lately and I’m still split on this one, as much as I love the others.
Has anyone used the raw waveforms which are promised in the app description?
Not for this one in particular but I have for the other expansions, yes.
