Awesome news. Thanks for taking the time to email them and to post here!
^Ditto.
I can't even get this one to play some factory presets without going from occasional clicks & pops, to basically breaking up the audio completely. This on iOS 8.02 iPad Air. Tried all buffer sizes (for some reason the lowest seemed to give best performance). iOS 8 issue? Or is this the second bum buy tonight.
Edit: Meh the whole spectral section went AWOL and never came back. Into the trash bin you go.
Shame.
It appears to slowly fall apart doesn't it? I'm sure a fix will appear.
ouch! And not a chump change app either this...
Yea 20 bucks is a bit too much to just throw away, so to speak. I used the "report a problem" in iTunes on this purchase (the email receipts takes days to show up) to get a refund. I understand apps having some baby issues and whatnot, but this was just too broken in its current state. I'm gonna revisit this one later down the road though after a few updates and hope it's on better shape, behind all the current issues it's definitely a really great multi fx app.
^ please consider emailing them also to apply additional pressure. Their apps could be so amazing. It's frustrating.
I mentioned performance issues on iOS 8/IPad Air, and AB issues, on their Twitter. I'm hoping at least someone in the lab sees it:)
Def. a SNAFU they hadn't planned for....must suck from the development end, but that's the game.

yay! the fact that they actually responded to the support issues i've raised via email and twitter gives me more hope than when CsGrain came out...
Yes the support response is good so I am hopeful. I don't want to cast aspersions, but the response I got on the 23rd mentioned an update that had been submitted the week prior. That would mean it's been with Apple for just over 2 weeks.
Maybe they had an issue with the update being rejected or Apple is taking that long? I'm hoping that Sod's law means that having typed this, the update appears in 5 minutes
I'm seeing devs (Kymatica, Distraub and more) wondering what's taking Apple so long at the moment. They all have updates that's been waiting at Apple for 2 weeks by now.
Btw, got this from Boulanger on Twitter :
"@BoulangerLabs: @Chris1a1 We have an iOS 8 update coming for csSpectral and csGrain that should resolve many of the issues users have been reporting."

Apparently Apple is taking much longer than usual to process updates. At least according to two separate developers I've heard it from.
@ChrisG said:
hmmm, hope the update isn't iOS 8 specific and will improve functionality on iOS 7 as well.
iOS8 seems to be having more compatibility issues than previous versions, I suppose the Apple review dept. is being swamped with updates...slowing down the process.
The iFretless apps have been waiting for review for quite a bit longer than normal now too I think.
I just tried using Spectral to effect DROM in AudioBus (with DROM in the input slot, csSpectral in the effect slot, and speaker for the output), but when I wake up Spectral, it starts effecting the iPad mic and DROM passes through without effect. WTF?
iPad 4th gen, iOS 7.1.2
How about iaa?
I haven't had much luck with IAA either. The speed knob seems to have an effect on the input audio, but nothing else. I just heard back from Boulanger though. They said AudioBus use wasn't supported yet, which confuses me. Why then does Audiobus show it as an option? They confirmed that an AudioBus/IAA update has already been submitted to Apple.
on my ipad 3 7.1.2 it works flawlessly as an in app effect for impc pro, it just struggles with how many fx you use but as far as working everything works, I do a ton of resampling through it
Update out now and appears to have cured all the ills.
Heh.. my update seems to have nothing audiobus working I'm rebooting for 3rd time after delete / reinstall. Holding out some hope (iOS 8 64bit here)
Updated. iOS 7.1.1 / iPad 4. Working great with AB.
I had to unmute the speaker when it was in the effect slot but it is working as it should. iOS 8 Air
You always have to unmute the speaker for safety reasons (feedback). It was like the from the get-go.
Yeah unmuting in effects slot. Its a bit tetchy (restart app from effects slot causing some needing to shut everything down) but at least its working in general
Its a shame that audiobus seems to have lost the auto select of output ... I have to manually select now.
Seems to work better now but if you're having issues, make sure your buffer settings match!
Yay!
iOS 7.1.2, iPad 4, latest AB
Can it handle stereo files or does it monoize the file before processing like CS Grain does?
Is anyone actually able to run all 5 main modules simultaneously on this multi fx unit after the latest update, without a hiccup? Cos it sure wasn't able to before.
Is there any way I could run this on my ipad2, or is it beyond the power of my ancient device? Turnado seems to work ok, even in a chain with Thor and GarageBand, and those are pretty resource hungry.
Ideally I'd like to run it in Audiobus, but even if I could just run it as a standalone until I update that'd be something. Anyone using this on an iPad2?
