Here are some pictures that illustrate what I show in the video. There are other ways to accomplish what you want, but I think this approach is the most straightforward. You can use copy/paste liberally to speed setup.

There are scene buttons that select the effect chain for the scene and then turn on/off effects in that chain -- and set the tempo.

There are buttons to turn effects off and on and a slider linked to the delay time. You can use them to directly interact with your effects but the scene buttons don't interact with the widgets (other than the radio buttons for the effects chain).

When you change the scene, the buttons automatically will be updated by Loopy to reflect the current settings.

    Overview

Here is what is inside the buttons that interact with the effects. For this use case, each of those buttons has just one action, but they could do more if you wanted.

    THE SCENE BUTTONS
The scene buttons are set up with actions to directly interact with the effects rather than to manipulate the widgets

OMG! That's what I'm talking about!
Can't wait to try it! Man, that's exactly what I have in mind. So, will Loopy Pro global BPM not change the preset BPM?

  • @Tones4Christ : I am not sure what you mean by " will Loopy Pro global BPM not change the preset BPM?"

    Can you explain?

Loopy Pro only supports one tempo at a time. You mentioned needing to be able to change the tempo. This just demonstrates that you can have buttons set the tempo if you want.

    @Tones4Christ : does this help?

    Sweet! Thank you

  • @Tones4Christ I have attached the variant used in the screenshots. It also has a dial that steps through the scenes. You could have a midi pedal set to advance from scene to scene with it. Tapping on the knob advances one scene. You could use an action when the page opens to reset the dial to start on step 1 -- if you end up using pages.

  • Super sweet!!! Thank You!!!
This will reach me tons as it'll allow me to see how it was put together.

  • @espiegel123 really interesting Setup.

So far I'm learning the logic of how you set it up. I like it. The little widget that you press to cycle thru the scenes is super cool. I might have to copy it 3 more times to assign it to my individual pedal switches so I don't have to press it more than once to get to the scene I want. Especially when playing live, sometimes I just want to go to my rythmn scene then jump to a lead guitar part scene on the go. But so nice to see the setup!

Also, would there be a way to have a visual of the current BPM? Like have a widget blink with a certain color denoting what BPM the whole page is at? That would be so helpful in a live on stage situation. Currently I have none in this pedalboard. That would be so helpful.

    Thanks!

Glad it was helpful. There are other ways of doing some of this. I’ll try to demonstrate some in a template in the coming days.

The BPM is displayed at the center of the clock indicator in the upper right of the status area.
