[OUT] MuseBud Generative MIDI Sequencer
Edit: the app is out!

Hey all, I'm going to release my new generative MIDI app, MuseBud. It's a pretty unique, easy to use generative MIDI app where you can set the possibility of EVERYTHING.
It has modes;
- Note mode has all the notes in the scale with the rest mode, so you can set the possibility of each note one by one
- Octave mode has full range -1 to +9 octaves you can set the possibilities
- Duration ranges from 4-bars long to 1/64th notes
- Velocity can be 0-127 (total 128 control points, can be grouped for easier assignment)
- Gate can be 0%-100% (total 101 control points, can be grouped for easier assignment)
- Ratchets can be 1 (no ratchet), 2, 3 or 4.
- Each possibility has a fader that you can adjust their chance.
- You can exclude the possibilities by leaving them at 0%.
It continuously generate notes, but it also records up to 64 notes to the looper.
- You can set the start point and length of the loop.
- You can edit/delete the notes in the looper.
- Each pattern has its own buffer
- When you create a new pattern, it creates a copy of the current one, so you can experiment or generate a lot of sequences.
It generates pretty good results when you fine tune the possibilities. With the looper, you won't lose the sequences. I'm really loving this, it turned a great app. Hope you'll like it too!
I already sent the beta invitations to some of you. But if you want to check it out and give me feedback, just let me know your testflight email address in a DM.

Looking forward to this!
Looking forward to it... MelodyBud is nice too...
Where Cem leads I must follow.
Looking forward to it.
It is, thank you! MelodyBud is a great generative step-sequencer that you can introduce randomization on its steps per mode.
MuseBud has a completely different algorithm that calculates the bias on the parameters (that you've set with the faders) and generates a stream of notes that being recorded into a looper.
They look similar but completely different engines. Can't wait to hear what you'll create with them!
I'm in... Thanks.

Been in the beta by golly this generative sequencer been blowing my socks off pair it up with a couple of decent synths and im in Ambient heaven.
It’s especially seems good for deep low down texture bassy sounds on certain settings. I’m actually afraid to close a AUM session in case I lose what it was generating!
I’m not sure what tricks of randomness it’s pulling in the background but it’s definitely top of the list for Fav Bud.
Just for the record @cem_olcay it’s been rock solid so far. If something went wrong I probably wouldn’t know with MuseBud it’s so leftfield and AI driven.
This is great! @cem_olcay
Been a blast on the beta, you knocked it outta the park again @cem_olcay
Your apps are starting to make up the vast majority of all my sequencing duties. They’re just too good 🙌🏻
+1
Didn’t realize it until I started thinking: when have I used something that isn’t a bud app in the last few weeks? lol maybe besides TATAT and then Octachron for drums as the only exceptions and that’ll probably never change.
Looking forward to it...
Hey all, just released a new beta build. I'll release this version if everything is alright.
The landing page is also ready, if you want to take a look at:

The app has been approved, it will be available tonight!
Yay!
It’s out!!

Quick demo my take on these fab sequencers.
The looper is really the key to this app if you want to see whats happening and whats being created.
Its great if you using different instances of the app to restrict the loop length for each instance for building different parts of a composition if you want some order.
Oh this is NEAT.
Like a stochastic Inspiration Generator, but much mode affordable & easier to use.
I have a question:
in Cubasis 3, if I set loop points, when the playhead of Cubasis flips from the Cubasis loop end point, around to the Cubasis loop start point, Musebud stops sending data.
Is there a setting to adjust this behavior or might this be a bug?
This is NEAT!
Very short musical demo of several instances of Musebud in action, and the pinned YouTube comment has a detailed description/review of the app's key functions as well as details of a giveaway to win 5 copies of ANY Cem Olcay app. Winners will be picked in about a day and a half.
Dang it’s out already. The beta is definitely cool. Still exploring it, but definitely liking it so far.
Congratulations on another release @cem_olcay
I was mostly using it to test melody and generative notes, but I think it would be super cool on drums. That’s my next test.
Thanks for reporting that, yes it was a bug, I’ll upload a new version quickly.
Oh that’s super cool Cem!
Thanks very much! I really like musebud, I think it’s really inspiring, useful, & fun!
Fun app worth adding to any generative tool box. Only started scratching the surface for an hour will have more time over the weekend.
Yes, I like it! @cem_olcay it does seem there could definitely be more values for note duration, what do you think? Like, there are no dotted or triplet times, for example. I love the range of durations available in a powerful sequencer app like Quantum. I know not all sequencers give these kinds of options but they’re good to have. There are currently 9 sliders in the Duration section. Perhaps the way it could be implemented would be that the user could optionally add more sliders there? The UI could stay as it is in the default preset. But as the user adds sliders to that section, first the triplet values could appear, then the dotted ones, for example? So that first we'd have the 9 straight time sliders all in a row, then 9 for triplets, then 9 for dotted.
Really enjoying this. It would be cool if there was a global speed per pattern, so the sub parameters like note duration clock divide from this source rather than host BPM as it does currently.
I love this! It's like Rozeta Particles on steroids...
That update is already available.
