He was buried pretty deep under the rubble, but he was pulled out in the end.

Back from the land of the living bots…
I'm unfamiliar with AudioThing - what's recommended and why?
Hell, can be a simple answer
Having been going off reccs for over a year now (here and other places), I just don't recognize anything listed there that I've looked at or was directed to previously (if that makes sense)
Grab their free stuff to start. If you lean towards sound design with an experimental edge, the Hainbach colabs will definitely get you there. If not, stick with the Things, they’re inexpensive, and do wonders.

The Auv3 bud bundle costs 30% more than purchasing all the apps individually> @Edward_Alexander said:
I wanted to complete the Auv3 MIDI bundle, but it's quite a bit more expensive that buying the remaining apps separately. I own half the apps and the bundle is still $35. Buying separate is about $21. If I go to the app store on my laptop, the bundle price is $19.99 but I can't purchase it on my laptop, I can only view it. Something seems buggy.
That's the way the store calculates. You must have gotten one or more on sale.
Edit: not sure about you not being able to purchase. That seems like a bug indeed
Wonder why it's different on iPad versus Macbook when I login with the same Apple ID?
Finally picked up Springs, and it's lovely. I think Dials is the only one I'm missing now, and I think I have enough of their noisy apps!
@PapaBPoppin If you're on Logic Pro, the Hand Clapper plugin drops nicely into a DMD kit and sounds great, well worth $4 US. I'm also partial to SR-88 and it's a great deal at $6 US.
Their Flip EQ is very handy, as well as their Springs and Outer Space.
I like some of the Things ones - they are very simple but do what they do very well. If you are into organs, Wurly and Philicorda are very good, especially Wurly. Dials is pretty great if you use it experimentally like here:
I would pass on Gong Amp - total one-trick pony imo. Wires is a bit extreme for me, never really ended up wanting to use it much. (Edit - actually, pulled it out of the app drawer again, and I am enjoying its distinctive sound more than I remembered.) Springs really drips. Noises is good, Mantis and Reels too. Lines is pretty interesting, never really ended up getting much use from it tho. Overall, though, they have a lot of great plugins. Great sound and some lovely UIs.
I like Wires…I don’t use it a whole lot but it’s good for when I do need it
Wurly is incredible … used it paired with electric vintage at the end of this song (EV on left channel, Wurly on the right )
Dials is one of my most used Audiothing apps. Flip also gets a lot of use.
