WoodValet - Tube Saturator is 80% off at only $2.99 until September 11 usually $13.99

Bought in a blink of an eye. Use a couple of his other apps and they are solid.

This might be the best summer discount on quality audio apps, aside from OCTACHRON @ $3.99. It’s such a great deal, it’s almost obscene.

Is SynthMaster 2 a must have?

Incidentally if you buy the expansion packs for the PC version they will transfer to the iOS version, but it doesn't work the other way.

Are you sure about this? I bought some of them a while ago and can’t remember which platform I bought on however I have them on both iPad and desktop. At the least could t they be manually moved across?

I did quite a bit of research and couldn't figure out a way... I first bought the everything pack on iOS and then ended up getting a refund so I could buy it for PC instead.

How weird. It's a moot point as you've gotten a refund but I'll have to try exporting the presets from iOS to desktop.

lol, just realized I put WoodValet, not WoodValvet, opps…

    It sounds sick on drums.

Yea, I’ll be honest I got the idea from @thesoundtestroom video featuring the app. At first Doug plugs in the electric guitar, then halfway through the video he pops WoodValvet on the drums, and it just sounded really good crunchy, heavy, or Lofi sounds without clipping or high levels. I immediately bought it after I watched it.

@Drrabbitfoot made a comment on the previous page, how Doug’s video sold them on the app, so out of curiousity I watched it, then bought the app. $3 for a $14 app, from a great developer, yes please.

    Grabbed skaka from klev…
What an awesome app for anyone looking to skip the finger drumming to get more realistic and humanized patterns from shakers n such, can even get a good closed hat sound.
Love that you can save patterns/grooves separately from the sound so you can swap grooves n sounds around. Gonna be sampling this a lot into Koala and the sp

Always wanted Borsta, but curious about cpu pull?

Absolutely fine … running on my old iPad Pro 2017, its CPU demand seems pretty average to me having used it quite a bit.

On my iPad Air 3 it’s runs about 35% in AUM. You could just always sample loops from it to reduce CPU load.

AUM CPU% is only relative … if your iPad cores are running at max clock speed this is a more reliable measurement, so using Borsta in an AUM set with many other demanding plugins is normally how I assess a plugin’s CPU demand.

35% running solo. Around 10% in a heavier setup pushing cores.

I hate to be that guy, but Russia didn't take part in the Greco-Turkish war, so it didn't have anything to do with the Turkish Victory Day commemorating the victory of August 30th 1922 (and coincidentally ceased to exist the same year).
