    I noticed that this has IAP‘s for tips. (Phew!) I wish Apple automatically created a tip jar for every app. It might help minimize the subscriptions.

    I would be interested to know whether Apple earns a percentage of tips. This would actually be unfair to the developers.

    If I remember correctly, there are a number of AK apps that Matt has creative control over. They use the AK framework, and maybe have some sort of partnership, but they are not Matt's (or the official AudioKit) apps. I believe the 909 is one of these, and so Matt can't address the issue directly, only urge the developer to do something about it. I could be remembering this wrong though.

    I think that’s roughly what was said also. It’s a shame. The AK framework has so much potential and CAN be really great but unfortunately some people use it to make bad and immediately abandoned apps which does bode well for the AudioKit name. All the new apps directly from Matthew are some of the best out right now though.

    Audio kit @analog_matt fix your old apps first so someone can use it as auv3s without dropped notes and apps crashing because now, by making them so expensive you just in fact lowered your sales very effectively.

    Well, I like AK, no disrespect, but maybe since they kept saying their apps will be $19.99 in the App Store description, but really never went up that high, they decided to put them up there for posterity. Hopefully they come back down eventually.
