Couple of free apps that I’ve been using and can’t find any other mention of on the forum…
Both are being actively developed and maintained. Both are stand alone apps, no connectivity
BlueNote Music Speed Changer lets you import videos or audio files and change the speed and pitch.
It’s also recently had Stem Splitting added (not used that).
It’s quite a handy way of getting some strange sounds ( @Svetlovska ?) out of samples as you can navigate forwards and backwards through the sample at any speed and also just stop at a point and get some neat drones.

NaadSadhana has a host of tools, percussion, drones, instruments etc for fans of Indian music.
The full version is subscription (yes I know) but the free version is definitely worth having and I find the design of the app quite refreshing.

I actually bought the ‘pro’ version of AudioStretch https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/audiostretch/id571863178 for that. You can independently change pitch and playback speed in that too, and scrub manually through the waveform, though it doesn’t do stem splitting. It’s designed to allow guitarists to practice by playing along to riffs, but I’ve long used it to create snippets of weirdness. It used to be my go to for video to Audio rips as well, but Koala has largely usurped that role for me.

I’ve always had interest in soundboards (from streaming years ago… kinda made my own but never really looked into em)… and… dangit. It’s downloaded …
It’s as beneficial as my old obsession with “RgB eVeRyThInG!!” Aesthetic I was aiming for, around that time (like even boarders on Touch Portal and steam avatar. Still enjoy some good fading colored lights… but not in the Speed Holes way I was trying to achieve years back)

Oh no! While there’s a slight nostalgia towards old Doom Mods in the way the clips are cut, this is horrible xD. Bunches of em are cut late into the start, the aol one didn’t work at all, and EVERY page has a small add that pops up and goes full screen after a few moments if you’re not paying attention

I wonder if the Private AI freebie was a glip? Just tried then and it’s $99. I had a look on the app page and I see the dev made an update 2hrs ago which fixed a subscription issue.

Yea seems fine. It’s ok. There’s many app and web options that are just as good. It downloads a 3gb Ai model. I did get it free, it’s now showing $69.99 though. Not sure,aybe a super quick sale, I mean they usually last at least a day though.

I just did it and it worked for free. Typically if an IAP cost money it’s shows that price in the confirm purchase screen, but it doesn’t show any amount in that screen so I did it and it worked, in case any are interested. Cheers!

I slapped Taurus on a Kalimba and it now sounds like a polyfm synth.
I slapped Ringotron on a clap fill, and it sounds like you’re transversing a stargate to each realm of heaven, bouncing along the edge of each layer.
For less than a large Soda Water, you can comprehensively professionalize your sound.
