From what I've read there's no comparison - Audiothing Springs is stellar, whereas Eventide Spring Reverb is one of their weaker offerings.

Eventide Blackhole on the other hand, is pretty much a must have (comparable to FAC Alteza and others) if you don't have one of those massive reverbs in your toolkit. I use it often. I know that's not what you were asking, but if you're looking to take advantage of the Eventide sale, there are probably better ones to go for.

Have both (Blackhole and Alteza) but I was looking for specific Spring Verb..... but still. Thanks for the recommendation and no generate any G.A.S for me, helps a lot

How does it compare to say TFX Reverb which is 1.99?

Tb Reverb is a great workhorse reverb which covers a wide range of common uses, but Blackhole is able to create massive spaces which I find I can't do so easily in TB Reverb.

Tb Reverb is a great workhorse reverb which covers a wide range of common uses, but Blackhole is able to create massive spaces which I find I can't do so easily in TB Reverb.

Alteza, Cascade and Crystalline are more similar to Blackhole.

I have both Black Hole and Cascade, and hardly use BH but almost always use Cascade as its a very creative and versatile reverb/fx.

Black Hole all the way. I have Cascade and Alteza, but for music normies can also listen to, Black Hole just delivers without fuss. In fact, I recently copped their bundles and many of the effects are great. Especially Ultratap.

A nice combination is a plucked string sound ( such as one from RingsFX, another essential app) passed through Ultratap and then through Blackhole, this makes for massive psychedelic trips

I don’t have this particular app, the App Store description reads like it does do that, but you might want to confirm it. Maybe someone who owns it can chime in, or you could look for the user manual online to confirm.
