I almost bought cascade yesterday haha glad i waited one day!
I'm going to give Velvet Machine and Cascade a try. These apps that provide intuitive UIs for experimentation are what make iOS music worthwhile for me.

Low brainer for that price
Looks like old users might’ve gotten burned, this is a new bundleID. I bought Duc’s Podcast AU (similar app) just before it stopped working and was dropped from the AppStore. Multiple attempts to contact him yielded crickets. Really scummy to bring back the same app under a new name so that that old users have to buy it again, imo…or am I just too bitter? 😅

Damn job.
I was going to write that I'd be first in line, since I already have enough synthesizers (and I'm not a fan of electronic music), but then I discovered Doug's video about the Synthmaster2 acting as an audio FX and I was hooked. Reading this thread is a never ending trap.

Strange. I picked it up for £1.99 this morning. Just checked on AppRaven and it was £1.99 for 6 hours!
Maybe it was a mistake on the developer / apple part, because after 6 hours the price was corrected from 2 to 5 USD:

Audio Damage Pump House is fantastic for 99¢ wow.
I still use it often even if Cubasis now as side chain.
Velvet machine is really cool! You can shape in a lot of ways! I had to watch a few videos to see its power but now i use it a lot
