Does “tut” = tutorial? Also what do you mean you can’t see Octachron? Do you mean it’s not showing up when you search it in the App Store? Or you already bought it and it’s not showing up in your host when you load it?

I had opened Octachron and VADrum2, but couldn't find the latter in the former

does vadrum2 host midi fx? Or were you trying to use both in standalone?
Are you talking about the preset in octachron for VA?
What host/Daw are you using?
I must admit I’m a bit confused, but just want to help…
Octachron is an Au midi fx for sequencing, and VADrum2 is an Au drum synth. So open accordingly inside a host/DAW, connect Octachron to VA and sequence away.
I’d use both of them in AUM.. Octachron as the midi sequencer (midi slot) and VADrum2 in an audio slot.. connect midi out of Octachron to VADrum2 and you should be set..
in Octachron, choose the VADrum2 midi map (top left hand corner, tap on the Octopus>midi mapping>apps>VADrum2 808 - or VADrum2 909.. then just plug in some notes or randomize a few things..
maybe try watching Jakob’s video.. covers hooking it up + randomizing stuff.. that video is a year old already + things have been added in Octachron.. but it’s still a good video in this particular case..
Any one have an opinion as to whether Mantis is a good substitute for (ahem - don’t start) Lunar Lander?

VADrum is not an AUV3 host though… sorry still confused on what you’re trying to do 😬 It’s just a drum machine plugin. So you have to load both into the host of your choice. Octachron in the midi slot, VADrum in the instrument slot, and then use your host of choice to route the midi out from one to the midi in of the other.
Or are you trying to use both of them in standalone mode? If that’s the case you just go into the midi settings to route them.
