Once on his birthday all apps have been for free...
Some of the music apps on sale this weekend.
More Music Apps with IAP sales
So far it’s only Gadget and the Gadget IAPs here in the states maybe @Simon saw something Korg shared somewhere but it didn’t specify desktop/ios or maybe the other deals are still incoming. Not sure.
Iceworks Laplace is $2 ff at $7.99
This is where I got it:
https://thebeatcommunity.com/2024/05/23/korg-price-update-drop-korg-gadget-3-in-app-purchases/
But I guess The Beat Community is wrong as this is what Korg says:
https://www.korg.com/us/news/2024/0523/
Quite possibly. It was just an observation though. Not stressed, just seems to be the way it rolls out. A bit odd if anything.
Piano Chord Trainer is $4 off at $1.99 - on screen or midi keyboard piano training app.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/piano-chord-trainer/id1606790613
Right on @Simon you’re cool, I knew you saw it somewhere legit or you wouldn’t have posted it. I thought maybe they were incoming or something, but so far just Gadget and it’s IAPs. Don’t sweat it. Cheers, appreciate the posts
Sigh… no general Korg app sale this holiday weekend.
No. Korg's official site never said there would be one.
The Beat Community is where the non-Gadget apps were listed as being on sale. Just an accidental mix up.
No worries mate that stuff happens. That’s typically a reliable source.

Reeeeeally tempting…
I should probably open original Riffler at least once before buying another one.
It does have a very good set of arpeggios with varied rhythms...but the app has half the features and sounds of riffler and also has an annoying click sound every time the loop restarts. The developer is aware and also last year promised more functionality was coming soon, that he released it with few features to get it out the door, but it's been many months at this point.
You can mask the click with delay or reverb. I use it as there's nothing comparable that gives you the kind of actual guitar-like arps but am definitely not happy with the audio bug and absence of time signatures, sound patches, scales/modes, etc..
What's there sounds good as long as you use fx to mask the click but I get annoyed every time I use the app because of the aforementioned issues not being addressed given how long it's been since the app was launched. I'll be really annoyed if the Riffler VST comes out before a patch for Flow since these fixes should come first.
@satchnut
For me the stuff Flow creates is more in line with music I make, but they are both really cool. Flow is definitely different enough too.
I’d definitely try the regular Riffler first if you have it, and never used it, but it’s an AU midi generator or an Au audio app, it also exports midi and audio in standalone. Open OG app hit the dice or tweak some presets and see what you think. Would the audio or midi be useable? There’s your answer. Flow will probably be discounted through Sunday at least, maybe through Monday.
I want it, but it is still full price here in the cold north.
