I’ve always read folk talking about Korg Gadget but not paid a huge amount of attention to it due to lack of auv3. The new version has me interested however I have no idea as to what’s included in the base version (29 AUD at present)? Anyone help a dear sod out and explain?
Their website has all of this. There are 40+ Gadgets so too much to slot manually figure and type which come with the base app.
Look for the asterisks for the ones that require an IAP.

According to Doug's video (5 years ago):
Berlin, London, Marseille, Chicago, Phoenix, Miamo, Wolfsburg, Brussels, Tokio, Dublin, Amsterdam, Kiev, Chiangmai, Helsinki, Kingston, Zurich, Rosario, Recife. So 2 gadgets were probably included later.
So is it worth getting gadget for the built in ones? I’m never gonna use it as a daw so it’d be 20 sheets for a bunch of auv3s.
I’m currently holding out for their standalones to go auv3.
Thanks so much for this, also @HotStrange. Seems like a pretty good deal then. Must watch those videos as well.
I'd say "yes". For $20 you are getting a ton of different sounds you can use in AUM or Cubasis or where ever plus you can tweak each gadget to make your own presets. Cheap thrills...
How many gadgets are included with the full version? Thanks 👍

Thanks. Bought it 👍
Same here ... no interest in the DAW, but the modules ... 20 AUv3s sounds like a bargain, but when I went through the demos of the individual modules on the KORG website, the specs and audio demos, they are good but I didn't find any standout ones tbh - I can easily cover all that territory with what I already have.
Would much rather spend that money on ARP Odyssei Auv3 I think.
man this thread is so exhausting, maybe have to skip it completely .. around a hundred new posts every other day and the majority of them redundant, is just too much for my taste
Got this in my email from Samples from Mars, free samples from the LM1 (often mistaken for the Linndrum), an incredibly groovy, classic and rare drum machine from the 80s. It seems they have bought a second ultra rare LM1 unit and this one has a slightly different sound.

Thanks
270 odd posts in 13 days. I find it pretty easy to scan through 20 posts a day for a few mins - especially as I only pay attention to the ones that interest me. Just don’t subscribe.

Yea, I know it can be a bit much sometimes, but when you catch something like a Free AU, Podcast Audio Unit, it makes it worth it.
A couple of my fav gadgets are additional IAPs, take a look at Abu Dahbi, Gladstone, Madrid.
Just a thought, you can skip over the posts that don't have a link. That's my mode if I'm just looking at the sales.
Chicago and Miami are my favorite stock gadgets ,and idk… Maybe Tokyo?
For add-one: Gladstone, Madrid, Firenze (clav sound from the gadgets you get with the senate purchase of the Korg Module app) , and sometimes one of the other korg synths that they converted into a gadget are really good, depending on what I’m doing. More accessible to me than in IAA form, that’s for sure
