Hard to tell if it has expired or not - I don't see any purchase options since taking the license, but it is still shown as a live offer on the site I grabbed it from. It was just taking the bottom option on the screen below when starting the app for the first time:
Saw a few comments from people who struggled as they skipped that screen initially and then found it was chargeable from the menu, but reinstalling it gave them the screen again. It is from a UK site so might be regional but fingers crossed 🤞
