I expect it isn't the messy room that affects the creativity but rather the personality type that results in both the messy room and the creativity.

Take a person who needs an organized environment and stick them in a messy environment and creativity will go in the tank pretty much guaranteed. Take a person who just doesn't care about the external environment (resulting in messiness) and put them in an organized room and I doubt their creativity will suffer much at all.

Not necessarily. The little study referenced was about 6 rooms that were prearranged in different ways to see how individuals reacted in each environmental state

Is there a way to use QWERTY keyboard in other apps as well?

@Icoustik dude woah now that is using Loopy Pro on some next level shit, really incredible ….Loopy Pro is so amazing too, like the level of control you have over a “track,” or rather the components is crazy.

I loved how you used/set up Turnado too man….this looks “fun” to mess with

The app itself has to support it.

There's an old app called SideCar (not to be confused with the Apple SideCar display functionality) that received an AUv3 update some time ago. You can load it as a midi FX plugin and it can send notes from a BT keyboard to play other synths.

It's often more trouble than it's worth though, because the way iOS works, if you switch to another app and touch it's GUI, the BT keyboard focus is lost until you return to the Sidecar window and tap it. There's nothing that can be done to overcome that limitation as it's at the OS level.

Hi wim. If you are using a BT keyboard with an app that does support it (withoutSidecar), then does the keyboard still lose its focus when switching to another app and touching the UI? Or does this behavior only apply when using Sidecar? I’m guessing it doesn’t lose focus from what i saw when the Magic app was opened, but I’d like to be sure before i invest time into this.

I’m loving this @Icoustik , nice and heady without any of the annoying and startling unruly FX volume jumps. Great job of taming all that shit while keeping it heady and then going into weird but bringing it back in, except for the end, lol, you left me hanging 😅

The behavior is a hard limitation of typing keyboard focus in all apps, not just when using the SideCar Midi Controller.

Hey thanks! Yes, fine tuned and tweaked for live performance, indeed trying to avoid those jumps and annoyances.
