  • Thanks team, I appreciate the info. Will shut up and stop derailing this thread now :)

  • Standalone is still good as you can use it in AUM, as already mentioned, but it also has decent controls for jamming on within the app. And then get Gadget later as it’s definitely better in there.

Kids, I'm really on the fence in regards to Gadget (not owned yet). Milpitas (iWavestation) is the synth that is making me keen to dive in however paying $30(aud) for Gadget and then $15 for the IAP is a tad hefty. A question though - when I look at the Gadget listing in the app store, Milpitas is not listed as an IAP? Have I got it wrong and it's actually included in the base Gadget?

No it’s not included but you should only have to pay once. If you buy the standalone all you have to do is restore purchase. Unless you’re talking about buying 2 different apps?

Don’t I have to buy Gagdet then buy the wave station IAP?

Do you already own Gadget (the main app) if so, you only have to buy iWavestation once. Then once you restore the purchase inside Gadget, it will be available there as well.

  • One of the nice things about having Gadget, is you can run multiple instances of iWaveStation in you project at the same time.

No I don’t own Gadget. Got interested with the new update but not sure if it’s going to add a lot to my setup. That may well not stop me though!
