  • It’s amazing the amount of improvements to an already perfect app. I love the playhead position adjustment gesture. So natural and intuitive.

  • Do you know what this means? "Added “Input Gain” parameter for audio sources"
I don't see any new knob or slider in System Settings nor Audio input form.

I don't see any new knob or slider in System Settings nor Audio input form.

It is available with the adjust parameter action for audio input actions.

  • Loopy Pro is just so incredibly powerful, the only challenge for me is staying on top of what’s new. My paid update was (and continues to be) well earned.

  • is that playhead action working like audible scrubbing?

If you connect it to a slider or xy-pad.

I suggest trying it for yourself if you have Loopy Pro. If you aren’t sure how, let me know.

Some might have missed the feature when their free upgrade period closed, and are debating whether to upgrade. That was definitely the case with me when the stepped selector control thingies arrived. Their coolness eventually pushed me over the edge. Getting fixes for free while foregoing cool new features is such an effective FOMO approach to upgrades. 😂

i don't have the upgrade, yet. so i'll wait until an demo shows up on youtube or somewhere else.

  • I realized today that relative cc control/midi feedback with midi controller doesńt seem to work any longer 😩 It still works for bindings íve done before the update but not for new connections. It tried it a couple of times, of course with the exact same settings as before (on something simple like track/mixer level). As some of you might remember, this is THE feature why i bought Loopy 🤓 Would be supernice if you could have a look at it @Michael 🙏

If you manually set up the bindings do they work?

I just was able to midi learn my relative controller. it sends 127 and 1.

can you reboot and try midi learning in a new default project.

What values does your controller send?

does it matter what you are midi learning?

can you screen record the issue?

Same here. Works fine with encoder sending 127 (counter-clockwise) and 1 (clockwise).

Thanks for your help 👍 Well, i did restart Loopy (of course) before i made a judgement and did continue mapping then (via learn). And i realized a minute ago that it seems to work again… dunno what happened. Probably some „double cc“ that made trouble? i did change a lot of cc numbers now to have a better overview. Maybe doubles are gone now.

I had a longer break and want to finish my „faderfox project“. Íˋm still amazed how good the remote control works. Hope AUM will catch up some day (its not far behind anyway)

    Have a nice weekend 🥳

Worth knowing during midi learn that if it doesn't pick up the relatively midi, you can tap to correct that.

  • @Crabman : i've added some pictures to the midi troubleshooting page showing how to correct a midi learn's options

Thank you for making this. I have a question - is it possible to set up a button that brings the donut back in sync with all the other donuts? (Or is that the purpose of the "reset inner" button you have there?)

There is a phase align action (that was introduced back when reverse playback and varispeed were added) that puts a clip back into alignment.

“Reset inner” sets the two dials back to doing nothing. That example was thrown together quickly to give a taste of what can be done with Adjust Playhead.

I am not sure if it was clear but the dials were set up to set up changeable loops within a larger loop. Someone had asked a while ago about how one might do that.

Thank you for the explanation. I think I want to experiment with this playhead adjust now that I know I can make a 'phase align'.
Such a versatile app! I can't believe how much money I have spent on looper pedals in the past and LP blows them all away!

    https://wiki.audiob.us/doku.php?id=loopy_pro:midi_troubleshooting#changingcorrecting_a_midi_learn

Great infos about the midi monitoring, thanks 👍

For me it works even easier, all i have to do is selecting“ continous“ after map(learn) the CC. It does NOT work (for me) when i select“relative“ as well. There are settings for relative modes in the faderfox but it seems íˋm not smart enough to make it work. But „7 bit absolute mode“ works great anyway (thanks to the midi feedback).

Relative will only work if your device is sending relative MIDI. There are a few different conventions for relative MIDI. One is that 127 is the smallest decrement value and 1 the smallest increment value and the closer values are to 64, the coarser they are. Loopy works with this convention.

Interesting 🤔 The Faderfox has options for relative control but as i said, i was not smart enough to figure it completely out. But thats totally fine, the absolute mode combined with midi feedback from loopy does exactly what i want. Even better than i was hoping for.

  • v1.1.20 update!

  • Thank you @ninobeatz
Every LP update announced in the last few months has two phases for me - the anticipation phase and the disappointment phase. Yes, I'm talking about MIDI loops support and yes, I know I have to be patient. So hopefully next time? :)
