Same. I'd like to know what that means.
I'm very happy with the continuous updates!

I believe it just refers to the previous two sentences. You can save values of various parameters together, and restore them in a bunch.

  • Is it this? Settings .. Control Settings .. and then New Profile, and then Add New Binding, Adjust Parameter, and there are choices for Action - Adjust Continuously, Toggle Value, etc. and choose a parameter to modify. I tried it out to adjust the volume on a clip by a MIDI Note trigger and it worked, and ramped it between two values, but I haven't quite figured out how to use it properly.

I’ve figured how to do it, but it’s complicated to explain - it lets you save AU parameter values/etc in upto 10 slots & then restore them over time - ie proper sound morphing! Morph time can be upto 30 seconds, or 7.5bars (I don’t know if this is a bug, seems a weird number). The v.simple project I made uses 2 buttons, 1 to save Korg Wave’s Osc position; & 2 to restore it over the course of 2 seconds (both in the 1st slot, of the 10 available)

I’m new to making stuff in Loopy, but can see this is really powerful & will definitely be using it loads!

All of the various "adjust parameter actions "now have save and restore options in addition to assign, toggle and nudge options.

I’ve had LoopyPro since launch. I feel like never got around to spending enough quality time with it.

I have never paid the $15 upgrade fee that gets you all the updates and new updates for a year, because I wasn’t actually using it.

So, if I wanted to revisit LoopyPro and pay the $15, is there a way to see a list of all the new features I’d be getting that I don’t already have within the original LoopyPro launch version?

I think if you launch Loopy Pro and choose System Settings, at the bottom of the window, you can see a list of the added features you own. If their idea list of the features you don’t own that may be covered in the place where you have the option to purchase the IAP.

Quite a bit has been added since launch.

  • @skiphunt : If there are any new features you don’t have access to, you will see a “New Features Available” item at the bottom of the main menu at the top right — if you have the latest version installed.

Thanks 🙏 I wonder how close the new piano roll features that have recently been teased are from release. Any idea?

Michael is working hard on it and it is the highest priority. Accurate timeline projections have proved so difficult to nail that i think there is no timeline to share.

  • Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum and it is great to see such an active community!

I was surprised and very impressed with the addition of the Morphing feature and got me thinking. It could be used to mimic the patch morphing abilities of the Arturia Polyrute and Melbourne Insts. Nina if we could also assign this action to continuous widgets such as sliders (and MIDI learning them to an expression pedal or any physical controller).
As it is now it still enables us to create crazy transitions but wouldn't it be awsome if you could have this amazing sound design capability of those expensive instruments inside this app (potentially running say Animoog with this feature on an iPhone which just blows my mind).
Even if you are not into actually playing physical controllers that much you could still utilize the in-between positions of the knob states to create sounds far more efficiently by sweeping through a number of saved states and finding something you like. I kinda whish every AUV3 Host implemented this.

I probably will suggest this feature but wanted to check here first, I might be missing an already existing work-around, what do you guys think?

I don’t believe there is a way to do that. You should add the request on the roadmap site.
