    I was not clear enough. Sorry! When you load a project, the VAPolyMk2 AU instance forgets the selected preset. In a way, you are unable to save selected presets in the host.

    Does it actually forget the preset, or just its name? Many apps fail to save the preset name in their state data. So, when the host restores the saved state, all the parameters are restored, but the patch name appears to default.

    Saved patches of the VAPolyMk2 are there, it just forgot the saved state in the project. Including the position of every control function. Also, standalone acts in the same way.

    Reinstalling the app, didn’t help.

    You should report this to the developer if you haven’t already.

    Just to make sure there are no possible issues with my device setup, I needed a few confirmations. I don’t want to waste developers time.

    I figured this would be the case. The 2 times I’ve contacted them I don’t think I’ve had to wait more than 12 hours for a reply.

    Long story short after I have a melody in another instrument and copy/paste it into VAPoly mkII it changes the key . I did a video cause I can’t explain it

    This is a quote from my old post, maybe it will be helpful.

    VAMono is a great bass monster with LP 24dB analog sounding filter. Light on the CPU.

    VAPoly is the 8 voices VA lead synth, has two OSCs with ring modulation and two filters: HP -12 dB and LP cascaded OTA with two positions of -12 dB and -24 dB. It's a great filter capable of self-oscillation. Moderate CPU usage.

    VAPoly16 is a pads and ambient heaven, a VA synth with 16 voices (2x 8 voices with 2 osc). Newly modeled classic analog sounding filters (Sallen-Key). Have integrated EQ, compressor and peak limiter. Heavy CPU usage.

    I asked the dev and he’d mentioned seeing this issue (which had something to do with the sample rate ) but it was supposed to have been fixed

    Ah that’s right you’re iPhone only. I’ve only used it on iPad, I don’t download apps onto my phone unless I’m beta testing. If I get a chance later on tonight I’ll download it and give it a go and see if I can recreate!

    Did you ever hear back from the dev? I’m wondering if it’s a very specific issue to that exact version of iOS on that exact device and that exact version of GB lol.

    They may ask you for a crash log or video or something so may not hurt to have it ready just in case.
