I'm too paranoid to upgrade to iOS 8 or to upgrade any of my apps. It's driving me crazy!

  • I'm just curious. Is it ok to upgrade now as all the apps I have released ios8 compatible versions.

  • I spoke to soon about upgrading Animoog on IPad Air 7.12. Now midi out won't work or restore no matter what I do. Moog is aware and they are working to correct all of the problems.Hopefully soon! Sorry if I messed anybody up.

I know @Sebastian. The developers must be even more frustrated than most of us. I keep using my set up on 7, only updated sugar bytes apps and all is working splendidly. To be honest I have no need to update to anything and happy to wait whatever time it takes.

Edit: I have 12updates in my AppStore tray as we speak. I'm only updating non-music apps.

  • @supadom: lucky you!, my count is at 37to be updated! (also only music Apps), it's gonna be a loooooong day downloading, once everything is safer...

  • Yeah, I wish I had waited longer.

  • I've updated all my apps but not iOS. Everything seems to be working pretty well, I think I'll hang tight for a while!

    OK, you won! ;)
These days I only keep the apps I actually use due to lack of space and time. I like to keep my device nice and tidy in an anal sort of way. My daughters games are next in the list. No mercy! She has her own ipad anyway!

  • I have yet to update to the latest 8 for fear of getting what others have gotten - if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Although I have updated a few of my current keeper-apps along the way to a stable 8, most haven't been any of my hardcore apps.

  • I'm glad i updated before i bought any apps but it's frustrating waiting for updates (c'mon Lemur! ;P) and then there might be problems with the updated apps from what i've been reading. Up side is i'm discovering loads of great apps and other exciting ways of using the iPad.

  • What are these loads of great apps you speak of? We are hungry and must be fed!

  • @supadom: great! I won the contest. ;), of course, I think it's much more clever the way you handle it..., I am still so happy with all these toys, that I don't wanna let them go away (even when still having them downloadable), aaah, one of these days I'll have to start "cleaning up" a bit for a straighter workflow.

  • Haha, I wouldn't call it clever but definitely it confuses me less and makes me more focused having 20 essential apps I actually use. Yesterday I deleted Gadget but...I reinstalled tabletop and mpc pro ;), both being a bit more flexible and allow integration with other apps via iaa and AB. I think I've given gadget a fair chance but it was just sitting there gathering dust. I really hope the rumour that apple are going to up the base model to 32gb, while 16gb worked for me well for the last few years, some extra space wouldn't do harm.

Jeez i doubt i can tell you guys about anything you don't already know about! ;) It's the less well known stuff i'm discovering on sites like this and discchord, love the innovation.
