    She’s pretty but I just don’t think I need her. What’s the diff between this and the other sub bass apps?

    It's an instrument, basically a bass synth or rompler without the mids and highs. You'd use it for separate sub basslines, e.g. in combination with a higher pitched bass synth like a 303, where both would play different patterns.

    Personally I'm using Fosfat or Bass Mint which just add sub bass to whatever is inserted before or carved out manually in the frequency spectrum.

    I'd like to see a comparison with other solutions like the stock synths and presets in Logic (with a single band EQ @ 100 or 120Hz after) and how it does performance wise.

    Not a fair comparison with Fosfat or Bass Mint as this lets you actually play a melodic bass line using 808 style sounds.

    Huh? It wasn't a comparison, I've explained how Fosfat and Bass Mint work. The comparsion I'd like to see is against stock Synth plugins for bass lines which would be more than fair.

    Apologies, I missed the top bit of your post! BTW – I love Fosfat, I always turn the noise down but love the sub energy it adds.

    It might be nice if it actually replicated the functions of the drum machine it's emulating programmatically instead of via samples. I'm personally trying to avoid sample-based things in favor of modeled instruments. I like keeping the app light and putting the performance requirements on the much more powerful chips we have these days.

  • Hey everyone! Thanks for the feedback, we've been taking notes 📝 Just a heads up, version 1.0.1 is out now.

    @catherder this should improve the sound for you, check out the audio demo below using it. Make sure to grab the update and let us know if you have any other issues at [email protected]

    What’s New in v1.0.1
    * Optimized Amp Envelope to ensure smoother attacks and reduced pops or clicks
    * General sound quality improvements

  • Bought.

    Got it as well now. What could be improved is the Ui color. Not asking for a bright mode just slightly less dark, the neumorphic UI in black is a bit hard to see with reflections from the glass during the day.

    Glad to hear you grabbed a copy. I'll see what we can do for maybe a contrast control to help out there.

  • Did the developer include master tuning here?
