Does anyone know if there is a simpler way (versus MG2) to use this within a DAW to drive au/auv3 synths? Also I swear I saw a thread on the iPad beta however the search function doesn't bring it up (or it's pages deep).
@Cambler Try this:

Hi @royor thanks for this. I actually joined the Test Flight for this and almost installed it until someone mentioned it wiped out their MG2 install. I assume this is not a permanent thing but I got scared and held back
I did try the desktop beta and it seemed to work ok within Logic, however I’m not going to be spending 150usd when the iPad version should be able to be routed in to desktop I believe. Plus the want to use on iPad based projects.
Are you using it?
I am using it.. unfortunately haven’t had the time I thought I would have, to thoroughly test it.. I really liked it during the few short moments that I did find to kick the tyres 😁 Hooked it up in AUM.. quick + easy.. no crashes at all in my short sessions.. look forward to using it a lot in the future..
You can still download Midi Guitar 2 after installing MG3 beta.. (I’m guessing it’ll overwrite MG3 beta) Not sure what will happen with your previous patches when going back to MG2.. 🤷♂️ as long as you haven’t deleted the app (MG2) outright, they should still be there..
All your previous MG2 patches will be available to import into MG3.. right now you’ll get a popup - Importing MG2 patches is not quite working yet. Needs manual adjusting.
