Yeah! When I play in drums in Koala standalone I also place kick, snare and hats to the outermost pads for some gamepad style drum action. I don't really miss pad kontrollers having touch. I have a MPD 218 and Korg Padkontrol and they're going up for sale soon.
Not in the standalone but you can turn the bg beat down then in the host app make your own beat.
To import samples place the sample in the skratch-it folder on your device then in skratch-it long press on one of the 6 buttons a-f and you will see a drop down of samples you can choose including your imported samples.
This might be the dj app I’ve been looking for. I currently use Traktor 2, however, it’s difficult to scratch. It seems a little too loose. To those who already downloaded, how is the control (as in the feel)?
I'm not a turntablist or a DJ so I have no idea what kind of feel your expecting. But I was able to scratch the wave file in time and it felt natural to me without using the crossfader just scratching the wave file. Plus it sound good with other effects and doesn't feel laggy. I was hesitant to get this since I really don't
care for scratching per se but this app is loads of fun for manipulating words ,voices and things I have yet to discover. However I don't think you DJ with this app unless you use both it and you DJ app in a host.
I’m no turntablist either, however I have prior experience with a set of Technics 1200. My main purpose is to add scratches to various beats. Out of the few dj apps I’ve used, I’ve noticed the turntable itself is feather small.. this app seems like the right “fit” so to speak
Yes it great at adding scratches to various beats.
