Apesoft apps haven't been updated for 2 years.

I hope Apesoft will not overlook Apematrix. I requested months ago a volume/master channel that would cover all three matrixes. I got a friendly reply but so far nothing happened

I’ve moved from a heavy AUM user to a ApeMatrix/Loopy Pro base because of the triple matrix and built-in LFO setup, but yes, I worry that at some point it will all go crashing down around me because it would not have been updated in, say, 10 years. Let’s hope it’s maintained.

I love his presets … I normally make my own patches for synths but his patches for IVCS3 find a lot of love in my group’s music

ApeMatrix + Loopy Pro is great, that's my favorite setup. Are you routing audio via bus to LP, or loading it as an IAA instrument? I find that doing the latter is not optimal. It spikes the system instantly. I don't see any real usability distinction between bus vs. IAA, so it's not that bit a deal.*
Anyway, it's good to see some ApeMatrix love in this forum; sometimes I've felt like a lone voice. To me it's the central nervous system of iOS musicmakin' Perhaps I will pester the dev to add a tip jar, to encourage his continued maintenance of apps. I think his releases, including ApeMatrix, are works of art.

😏 Well, someone had to be a contrarian. I'm being a bit cheeky, so don't take my reply seriously.
Hey everyone, just letting you all know that iVCS3 will be getting an update and the new "11-Eleven" Preset Bank will be available in the Presets & Mods Shop after the update. The bank will contain 211 presets, the first 140 are playable and the remaining 71 are Sequences, Drones and self playing patches. The bank also comes with 51 accompanying CV/Audio files providing some processed Audio and Envelope / LFO CV Structures which can be used via the input channels to modulate destinations via Matrix Rows 8 and/or 9. These files may be used in your own non commercial patches to add extra functionality like percussive envelope transients and specially designed LFO shapes and fx. The first 4 Presets are related and can be morphed using the Snapshot Pad while being played via an external controller... This promotional video demos 4 short live compositions each using 2 presets, a sequence and a complimentary lead...

Hey, @GUB , just noticed your reply. I’m loading it as IAA instrument. No noticeable cpu spikes, but I’m on a m1 iPad Pro (and plan to upgrade to the upcoming [?!] m4 pro), so that may be why. I do have to mute/turn off the occasional auv3 when I’ve loaded apematrix up, but that’s easy enough. AUM is not necessary in my setup.
And yes, agreed, a tip jar is a great idea.
Nice to see a classic is going to get a little shine to bring it up to date.
Hey everyone,
Some important news regarding iVCS3 and in particular an Apple IAP Ecosystem change affecting future preset releases...
Unfortunately, Apple have made major changes to the IAP Ecosystem used by the iVCS3 Presets and Mods Shop and while existing IAPs are currently unaffected all future Preset Banks can no longer be released via IAP. It seems that iVCS3 would need to be significantly reprogrammed to accommodate the changes which unfortunately cannot be undertaken at the present time...
So in order to circumvent this situation, for future releases, starting with the new 11-Eleven Bank, (which is now available!), I will be hosting my Preset Banks on my personal eBay account. The Banks will be available to purchasers as a downloadable ".zip" archive file...
Once a purchase is completed, I can then forward installation instructions with a link to the downloadable zip archive file containing the ".ivcs3" Bank and accompanying CV ".wav" files...
Currently as things stand, the extracted archived files will need to be manually shared to iVCS3, but once all the files have been installed, the bank will operate exactly as any other, the same being for the CV files also.
A positive to come out of this is that it has given me the impetus to start writing a Guide Book on all aspects of programming iVCS3 including how to use my CV Files in the sampler section to use in your own patches. If anyone is interested, I could also include some history of the VCS3 and perhaps my own background in programming and sound design. (There's an easter egg regarding my history near the end of the new 11-Eleven Bank lol)
So all that said, here is the link to the new bank on eBay, many thanks for all your support and if anyone needs help with the installation or indeed any other aspect of iVCS3, please feel free to give me a shout on the iVCS3 facebook group, I'm always ready to help for sure.
