  • How fast can this go? With all the modulation and synth engines it could be an amazing drone machine

it might be more dependent on how fast the host can go ( unless you arent linking the tempo ). You could always crank it up to ma and add some delay lines and reverb to smooth it out a bit for a drone.

Looks like aum goes to 999 bpm so with 16ths and 32nds we can get to drone speeds

You’re actually using it ? Does it surpass or even equal “Strokes” or “BAM”?

Too spoilt with a drum machine au per track in drambo. So a sequence per track plus outputs. Fm per track. Euclidean per track. Swing per track. Additional adsr and frequency shift per track. Along with p-locks per track. Samplers per track.

But think this app could be better.

Its just the intergration of modular in host, which works good with song making, across ipads

    But drums are drums.

Just make a beat and be done with it.

  • Hope this one will drop soon.

  • Anybody any news about the iOS release?

see above for the dev's comment in mid-August, no reason to assume it isn't still on the way once the build is optimised etc

i'm also very excited for it, think we just have to be patient :)

  • Can't wait for this one.

  • I don’t have patience.

  • I'm waiting for it like Hachiko

  • Who resurrected this thread? I was just fine, forgetting for the wait. Now I needed to refresh all demo videos and hyped myself to the roof all over again. 🤦‍♂️😂

I love this company, had forgotten about them. I remember talking to them and they told me about this and another app that were expected to be released in September and October…of last year. Software developers should really just add 2 years to their initial projections. Not bashing, it’s just the nature of the thing.

Looks neat, but the LinnDrum still does everything I need.

  • Omg pls. 🙏🏽

  • Yes, genuinely excited by this one.

  • Yeaaaahhhh baby!

I don't know why, but this looks more attractive to me than One Shot. I like the interface and how people are creating unique drum patterns.
I love what this guy is doing to make one from scratch:

I think they're aiming for very different markets and use cases.

Battalion does look sick, I'm very excited. I don't see much coming close to what OneShot offers me for fingerdrumming anytime soon, though

Oh - that's interesting. You can fingerdrum on OneShot? That's pretty cool.
What are the big differences between the two markets? I'm not that informed on drum machines (or do you call it drum computing?)

  • How soon?

  • The ‘released’ in the title is a real windup…
