Poor guy just spinning his wheels at this point. He just asked the chat to guess what he ate for lunch :(

Yeah, Apple are dropping the ball here. This is insane. I'm sure they said in their keynote last week that Logic Pro 2 would be released today. Wild.

  • CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA Apple today unveiled the all-new Logic Pro for iPad 2 and Logic Pro for Mac 11, delivering breakthrough professional experiences for songwriting, beat-making, producing, and mixing. Powered by artificial intelligence, the new Logic Pro introduces incredible studio assistant features that augment the music-making process and provide artists help right when they need it — all while ensuring they maintain full creative control. These features include Session Players, which expand the popular Drummer capabilities in Logic Pro to include a new Bass Player and Keyboard Player; Stem Splitter, to extract and work with individual parts of a single audio recording; and ChromaGlow, to instantly add warmth to tracks. Logic Pro for iPad 2 and Logic Pro for Mac 11 will be available on the App Store starting Monday, May 13.

It's a quick download and install, but there's several gigabytes of sound pack downloads for the studio instruments. Also updates to several of the installed sound packs.

I wonder if there have been any server-related repercussions as a result of that solar storm over the weekend?

    No.

Updated all my devices today without any problems.

    Same

Was there an update today? I always jump on updates just as soon as their available and I haven't seen any updates for iOS or macOS... yet.

The AI sessions players are quite a big download. Over 12GB.

  • Still no midi transport control or mapping… 🙄

  • Ok, now let’s see if my IPad is big enough

Wow, that's surprising to say the least

  • Downloaded…after nearly 25 minutes of use…I think it’s not going to be quick to get used to, and they seemed to have fixed nothing at all from 1.0

They haven’t fixed the crash on save on large projects. Still have to kill the app to be able to load again. :(

If AI is really getting that good, perhaps they should employ it to fix all these bugs :)
