  • @pbelgium I like your playing and the amp sounds great, Imma need to try it for myself. Looking for clean amp sims.

  • Thanks @eylvy, I'm sure you won't be disappointed, plus it's free to try.

Th-u has extensive midi control available in standalone, not sure why it’s not showing up in AUM.

It would only show in AUM if the developer’s create AU Parameters that AUM can display. I never use TH-U standalone when I can add AUM extras like a drum app or backing track. But I can see why TH-U would just expose all their controls as MIDI capable targets using CC’s and MIDI Learn.

I’ve been getting great tone from the Fender amp in GigFast.

Rub it in. I didn’t give it a fair shot but it’s not the first time I failed to figure out an how to use and app. I have a short attention span and tend to throw apps away when they don’t disclose their secrets in 5 minutes.

The key is turning off the OD module, and picking channel A or B. On those channels it’s possible to crank the gain knob to get clean gain, basically a loud uncompressed clean sound.

Makes sense. What I was hearing sounded like one of the very early IOS Amp products. Something akin to a transistor radio. Very tinny and without the bliss of a good Fender Tube tone.
