Already made a track with this one, put some lfo’s on some parameters, wicked, this app is worth every penny!

Need to test it first obviously but this looks like its going straight onto my live rig fx bus send, delightful

For live work you might like to know that all controls (including selectors and buttons) are clickless - we designed the VST/AU for realtime manipulation and the IOS versions draw on the same codebase for all the same features.

Does this delay allow setting the time by tempo (either via midi or AU parameter trigger) ? Several people have asked me for a delay whose time/tempo is independent of the host and allows the delay time to be set with taps from a footswitch.

  • @Slush nice trance man! Super clean mix

At present there's no tap input. The delay can be set either in milliseconds or in beats synced to the DAWs tempo in a variety of ways. So at present the only way to set it independent of the host would be to calculate the delay time required and set that in milliseconds.

I hope you will consider adding tap input (via midi or au parameter triggers) as a method for setting the delay -- there are few iOS delays that do that and it is very handy (particularly when you want to set the tempo and not follow the host sync)

    +1

  • Shoutout to @AlexHarker and the team for writing a manual chock-full of tips and tricks to try out. Link in case you haven't seen it.

I thought I had enough delays but this app is so good, especially for the clickless live tweakability of everything, including changing preset transitions.

  • This app deserves more attention. I bought it a few days ago, and I'm still exploring its sounds and textures. One question for @AlexHarker: is there a way to use this app as a send effect? I tried setting "Wet" to 100%, but I'm still hearing the dry signal.

Glad to hear you think it needs more attention - do tell your friends ;-)

In terms of dry/wet if you are at 100% wet you should not hear any fully dry sound - it might be that you should check the routing though, as if you are in parallel mode you are hearing delay and reverb in parallel. For one of the "Color" reverbs that might sound very much like dry sound. If you only have one module on, or your reverb routing is pre/post you shouldn't experience this. Let me know if you have specific settings that aren't doing what you expect (with a screenshot) and I can comment further.

    @AlexHarker -

The App Store descriptions for Modnetic and Diffuse have an inaccuracy:

Modnetic is an Audio Unit V3 plugin; it benefits from an AUV3 host like Logic, GarageBand, Cubasis, FL Studio Mobile, AUM, etc.

FL Studio Mobile isn't an AUv3 host. Substitute Loopy Pro and you're good to go. 😎

    Hi,

Quick question....can this delay emulate the Echo Plex?
It can be heard on the Billy Cobham album spectrum. Theres a tune on there that Tommy Bolin used it on a gtr solo...I'll find the link.

I think its Quadrant 4 here at around 1:50....

    Thx mucho!

Thanks - I'll double check again but when we were made aware of this previously it looked like the only way to correct this was to issue a new version of the software due to the way App Store submission works, which doesn't seem right for a change to a description. If that is the case we'd look to roll it in with minor updates as soon as possible.

Yes, I think you're correct about description changes only with new release. I was just making sure it was noticed.
