It was intended. It’s what I use for testing. I didn’t advertise it because it has some issues retrieving EXIF data from photos not taken by the iPhone and very-high-resolution pictures are scaled down (and people would surely start nagging me about that).

But if you don’t mind that, go wild and have fun :)

Well, with this option, we can combine multiple modes and use music app screenshots and photos from different cameras. Kinda, we lost the innocence of XP4N; now it’s just an FX machine. 😌

    B&W + Gritty

I completely understand what you mean, that's why I neither advertise nor support the feature. It's just there for my testing and debugging purposes.

Still say an option to shoot all 8 film types at once and let us choose or delete the ones we don’t need would be a great feature. Like assessing Contact Sheets and making final Selects - easily done in the photos app. Just need the pictures taken with one shutter press.

I have asked for something like this too. The problem I see with it is the amount of processing time required to take 8 (or more if new film types are added) shots at once. I like the idea of something like the film bracketing in Fuji cameras where you can ask for, say, 3, film types at once. Plus 'Unprocessed' would be nice.

Bram, I know you don't support it but do you know why 'Unprocessed' + 'Ethereal' looks different to 'Ethereal' when the shot is taken?

The soft focus effect uses several exposure variables as parameters for its look. My guess would be that it doesn't get the same (or incomplete) exposure data from the photo's EXIF after it has been saved as when it comes straight off the camera.

  • Hilda in XP4N mode combo. ;)

I kinda get this too. But, at the same time… I like that I can use these XP4N film looks on higher res images taken with larger sensor cameras… without any significant resolution loss.

  • oooooh those colors. ❤️

That’s gorgeous! Indeed, those colors <3

  • Usual dilemma choosing between Balanced and High Contrast BW, so I'll post both.

  • @brambos just an FYI: the level lines don't like windy conditions. Even if I hold the phone still, if it's windy the lines move around like crazy, in a very jerky fashion.

This captivating big blue could be a great motive for the wallpaper. 🤩
